What kind of stupid STUPID person downloads schematics to a contest & not follow up?? Why download it in the first place then?

Planning on a little livestream test tonight around 9pm central (7.5 hours from this post time), in which I'll be giving my first reaction of Dropper Challenge entries and categorizing them for the final map.
I won't be giving ratings tonight, just my initial reaction and looking at themes/genres so I can finalize the layout/sequence of the compilation map. I'll also be looking at 'difficulty'

Perhaps they downloaded it, saw the template, and realized their idea wouldn't fit. Another thing is bots. Or maybe people downloaded it to see what to expect? Or to make screenshots/videos of it to raise awareness?

43 drops, that's huge. The dropper map only had 11 levels.
It will need 4 houres to end the map.

I also noticed that some fall are impossible. It's almost impossible to fall through only one block hole (holes must be at least 2x2)
Agreed. Make sure the drops are not too hard! Maybe add walkways to the next drop in case the drop is too hard for the player. Otherwise, some players may ragequit.
Oh, during the livestream, you commented on my lava being perhaps...not fluidy enough...If you have full health, you go down to 3 hearts...not perfect, but then again, it's LAVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There were a total of 45 valid entries that received scoring in this challenge.
The total score for each entry was a maximum of 15 points, broken down as follows:
Creativity: Uniqueness. 4 possible points
Originality of theme
Simulates something other than 'falling'
Includes special effects
Includes story elements
Creativity: Use of Space. 6 possible points
Includes at least one long fall (40+ blocks)
Utilizes the entire width of the drop shaft
Involves multiple falls (punctuated by some sort of landing)
Includes a (optional) puzzle
Bedrock walls hidden or ornamented
Walls were made to look 3-dimensional
Detail. 3 possible points
Overall build quality and detailing
Color/texture pallate is appropriate to theme
Lighting is appropriate to theme
WOW! Factor. 2 possible points
The winning drop scored a total of 12 points.
The second place drop scored a total of 11 points.
Seven drops were tied for third place at 10 points.
I have reached to the winning author via email.
The exact date of the map's release will be communicated once I am able to correspond with the winning author and discuss a (hopefully) video playthru of the map.
My best estimate is a June 2nd release.
Again, THANK YOU to everyone who entered. Regardles of numeric scoring, every drop was AMAZING and tells a story about the author (hint hint)!
Obviously I haven't seen most of these but the screenshots of Thistlehoof's entry was easily the most incredible effort I've seen, it's like a still scene full of tumultuous action. Can't wait to try some of these!
