The project that I had in mind has been cancelled. I am still planning to release a sequel, but it just won't have the story that I was planning on implementing. It may be a remake of the first with some interesting redstone work with 1.8 and maybe a return of the end portal back from version 0.8.1. I'll let you guys know when the inspiration strikes me again, but for now just enjoy Waka Islands and Waka Islands PE.



As a so you know, I have two other maps. One is a ridiculously fun mini-CTM map called "Beautiful Danger" plus a remake of the LEGO Minecraft micro world sets called "LEGO Minecraft Survival". They are all on my Curse account on the Waka Islands download.

Holy crap... In two months, Waka Islands will be 3 years old! I want to thank every one of you guys who have supported me and downloaded the map and have just enjoyed it. I really honestly didn't think I'd break 100 downloads and we're now close to breaking 400k! I'm sorry I haven't been able to make more maps as life has just been in my way, but Waka Islands is still here and still being updated. I wanted to let you guys know from the bottom of my heart I'd probably be done playing MC by now if it weren't for this and YouTube.

I. FOUND. MY. FILE.

I found my old save file (granted it lacks a lot of what I previously did) that contains the village! I'm planning on re-working everything and making the map survival ONLY. No adventure mode in the sequel. I'm beginning development probably tomorrow and I'll make a Waka Islands survival experience completely new to 1.8. I'll release information when I decide to and I'll update this post when it is released. Until then, enjoy Waka Islands 1!

WAKA ISLANDS 2 ANYONE?

It's been a while and while I don't have any new screenshots for Waka Islands 2, I do have an expected release date. That date will be Holiday 2015. Please keep following the post for future details!

It has been a while since I last checked, but HOLY CRAP THE DOWNLOADS KEEP COMING!

Although they've slowed quite a bit since our last goal, we are only 50,000 away from our final download goal! We've hit 450,000 Downloads!!!!

It has been an honor to serve this community with this map for the past couple years. This was initially me just screwing around and now it's a really big map! Thank each and every one of you for downloading this map as it truly has shown me that I can do something worth while in this community. I plan on releasing the final update to Waka Islands 1 here soon, which will be similar to the most popular version of the map, 0.9.5. Plus, Waka Islands 2 is now in development which should include up to 120 islands all of which should be massive and not small like other maps that have had many, many islands. It will be the biggest project I will ever finish and each island is planned to have its own unique biome/dungeon/goodies that you should have fun exploring for many hours

Again, thank you, everyone, for how much support you've given me and this map and I truly appreciate how dedicated you guys are to the map!

It's been a bit since I've updated about Waka Islands 2, so here's the jist. Nothing's been accomplished yet. I'm so busy with school and extracurricular stuff, that its been so long since I've had time to go on a PC. No worries though, I'm still working on it and I am going to release it. FOLLOW THE POST FOR MORE INFO!

WAKA ISLANDS 2 RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCEMENT!

Waka Islands 2 will have 12 islands (1 being the original island with the waterfall). It will be constantly updated with more islands and made compatable in the future with my mod, the Wulfenite Mod.

IT WILL BE RELEASE DECEMBER 11TH, 2015. A link to the new thread will be posted here! It will have challenges like the first one but they can be turned in for a wool monument!
