Because I am not releasing a 1.1 SMP version of the map, when minecraft is now on 1.2 and the maps I am working on now are all 1.2 based. As soon as the mods get ported to bukkit I can start work on a new version of the 1v1 map which is getting a complete rebuild. But if you had bothered to at least try and read any one of the last 5 pages, you would know this already.
I know these maps look simple and something i could knock out in an afternoon, and if I didnt care at all about quality I probably could. But they are not simple, I do care and future maps will be significantly improved on current versions (in my opinion). So again I will say, if this upsets people I am sorry, but the official line remains
The maps will be released when they are ready and not before.

You realize that all the mods used are already SMP, right? aka: you could start work now with vanilla and be ready when bukkit's ready. No pressure or anything, just pointing something out.
i can not use this map it haves bad config i need help to dit it to work
The configs work fine if you install them in the right places. In short: we need more info than just "help". WHY does it not work? what errors are you getting?
You have to copy the included config files over. Make a fresh copy of the map too, cos if you started it with the wrong configs, it will not be completable.
Compact Solars has finally updated! Hopefully a 1.2.3 FTB won't be too long in following. I assume though, that the map has to be re-balanced because of 1.2.3 though....
I was testing out how the mods worked together and Minecraft started up fine all I had to do was change the enderchest ID (By the way these are the 1.2.3 versions of the mods) and when I went and just quickly made a random test world (I have not enough items installed) and looked to see if all the items were there and they aren't, the portal gun items are missing, the compact solars items are missing the equivalent exchange items are missing and the advanced machines items are missing. I know that they are not just not showing up because I went into the sorter on The "Feed The Beast" map and all of the items from those mods were missing.
Does anyone know why this is? Does it have something to do with config files or something? If anyone knows please personally message me here on the MC Forums.

If you use the config files like the instructions say, you won't need to change any ids or wonder why nothing works. The configs are included for a reason and not on a whim. There are many items already placed in the world, as you've seen. Using different ids (and different mod versions) breaks that.
Also, on using 1.2.3 mods on a map made with 1.1 mods: Don't do that expecting it to work perfectly. If you can't wait for the 1.2.3 version, that's fine, but your problems will be your own to solve.
Someone spoiled the ending for me and I lost all desire to finish the map, but I just saw Eloraam's flax capacitor and suddenly have a desire to load the map up again.

EE has 2 files that have to be extracted, portal gun you have to extract all files to the mods folder, and advanced machines isn't 1.2.3 as far as i know. Does that help?
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
hey joe, you bring the diamond pickaxe?.. Joe? *turns around and sees a creeper* Oh no... don't tell me forgot the pick again? "sssssssorry, sssssir"
So, after a major setback yesterday, (The person who was set up to do the wiring, his pc go boom!!) Some excellent progress was made through the night. We nailed down the updated exterior design of the monument. (no more boxes in the sky) We also finalised the revamped wiring system to take into account the new regulators from RP4e. (those things almost feel like they were custom made for this map. the amount of room they save us in insane.) A huge thanks to laremere and the others who helped on the stream overnight with this.
So the still to do list includes finishing off the new map start, the single player version will have a modified start a bit like the 1v1 except quite heavily modified. We are including things such as the new extra life system even though this is more aimed at 1v1, in order to get feedback on how feels.
I also need to polish off the new roadmap to take into account the extra items needed (we are up to 16 different items now) and then finally beta testing (please dont ask here. if you are really interested in helping then join the irc channel on esper.net #ftb )
Once that is all done, I can release this first map and then get to work on the updated 1v1. This will be the first multiplayer that will have a public release.
Finally keep watching the thread for details on the first Live Stream FTB 1v1 this weekend, featuring Krapht from Logistics pipes and Buildcraft fame, vs Pahimar who now runs Equivalent Exchange. Both have practiced heavily and we are looking at a possible 12 hour multi stream on Sunday.
I found a small bug in the map (not so much the map but how equivalent exchange works). If you get the ridiculous amount of EMC to make an alchemical tome, you gain access to everything in the trans table. I hope you don't implement needing to get that book as a achievement. (P.S Interesting livestream )

Unfortunately, while you may think you did that, you in fact did not. If you had, there would be no block id conflicts.
The answer is to copy the config files to the correct locations. We can't help any further.

You need to make large, grassy area to spawn and have a passive mob spawn, then change it with your philosopher's stone (unless it's already a cow. )
Oh, and if life gives you more lemons, make Chocolate Rain!
