Following the events of Eldmorang Alpha... yes, you in the back? What is it?
"I don't know what happened in Eldmorang Alpha."
You discover a strange bedrock building underneath your mining base on a distant planet--in doing so you alerted its inhabitants of your presence, at which point they promptly got on ships and decided to take over Earth.
In The Creeper Invasion, you continue where you left off, in a teleporter that sent you to Earth--but that was too good to be true, since the teleport actually waited several weeks to materialize you, plenty of time for these creatures (who you call Creepers because of a message they left you and sent on to earth) to destroy most of humanity. Only one city remains that is safe, but only for the time being...once you arrive there, your true adventure begins!

An early redstone puzzle.
Rules:
1. Do not play on peaceful. The recommended difficulty is normal.
2. Don't place or remove blocks. There are certain block types you may remove with certain tools, or place and remove freely; the readme describes this in more detail.
3. You may not craft redstone torches, TNT, levers, buttons, pressure plates, sandstone, or flint and steel.
4. Anything else may be crafted, smelted, enchanted, or brewed. ANYTHING.
5. No flymods or inventory editors.
6. Sand is money. Sand left at the end of the map adds onto your score.
7. Bricks are the score.
8. You can look inside dispensers but may not take anything from them. You may however pick up items and arrows once they have been shot out by dispensers.
9. Use the included texture pack.
10. There's a bonus goal, to collect all the records. It's not required, but it will affect how you do in the third map, so write down what records you have.
Lets Play's

This map SHOULD work in SMP; there is no reason it shouldn't. I have a problem with my computer that forces me to play offline, though, so I can't really test it.
CAUTION! May contain actual funny humor, bad special effects, lack of realism, enchanted armor, and a building shaped like a tardis. Handle with care.
Version 1.1 updates the map for minecraft 1.2, but the zip also contains an old version for people using older minecraft versions.
One last thing--if you put faith in my choices in music (which, if you have been following my channel, you probably don't)--you may want to listen to this while playing. Just a suggestion, it's not required in any way.
No, make that two last things. If you'd like to support the map, copy this into your signature.
I can't seem to get past the microchip part. No matter how I organize my redstone and redstone repeaters the 2nd piston won't allow the power to go through.
Tried putting a repeater in the middle yet? or maybe on the right you aren't powering the corner with a repeater?
I've put the repeater in the middle, and the pistons definitely DO go down.
I've got the one redstone inbetween the pistons to light up, with a repeater on the sandstone block right before it.
Still doesn't seem to be working. :l
P.S. Video is being rendered.
I meant a repeater in the middle underneath the pistons (well technically under the sandstone but you get what I mean).
On a more positive note, I finally had a chance to replay and do a video review on the full release.
What do you mean, on a more positive note? Are you referring to my post detailing all the ways I was unconsciously making a Minecraft version of Creeper World?

The texture pack for this isn't working. I dragged the zip from my Creeper invasion folder into the texture pack folder, and went on it, however I saw no difference. (ex.people were pumpkins, ship was purple, etc.) any help would be appreciated.

The ship wouldn't be purple in the vanilla textures :P. I'm not sure what's wrong actually, and I don't have time now, but I'll get back to you tomorrow. The texturepack (and the map itself) are pretty outdated, I'll see what I can do.
This is what I found in the Readme. Just how am I expected to decipher this???
It's just a technical issue I think. We're using different text editors and OS's, and notepad is notorious for screwing up my nicely spaced lines, *twitch*. I'm not sure if it's possible, but maybe you can open it in Word? If that doesn't work I can just host the readme by itself and you can read it in a browser.

That actually gave me an idea. I opened the readme in Wordpad & it works fine so yay
So I'll attempt this once I'm through with Gift & E2 (at least one of them so I can delete the excess jars).

Sure, but IS it any good?

Anyway, downloaded - looks fun!
You are correct. Don't tell me the link isn't in the op? If not it's here.
New score: 16 / 20!
--It takes place in the future
--Creepers kill everyone
--Only one city survives
--You fight creepers to gather technology
I might as well have called the teleporter "the rift."
I have increased the rating to 17/20!

Sorry, that was pasted from my thread
