Hello there! If you go on this part of the forums a lot, then you know that it is hard to find a map that is good for you. You might be a user, seeing all the new maps that lack criticism, making it hard for you to decided whether or not you should download it; or you might be a map maker and you want to have some opinions on how you can improve your map.
I will judge your map with the following criteria:
Concept of story
Execution of story
Challenges/Puzzles
Landscape and scenery
Overall difficulty
And originality
Then I will write a review, including the good sides of it, how it can be improved, and I will also add my personal opinion at the end.

QuakeVille by Solar_Heat
QuakeVille is an open-world adventure map that does not have a set story to it. The creator of this map, Solar_Heat, wrote a very interesting backstory for the four towns that you can visit. In the map, you can do practically anything except destroying blocks, unless it was specified or greatly hinted at (for example, you were given an axe and told to get wood). Despite having only the backstory as a reference to the tasks you could do, it was still a fun experience trying to not only complete the tasks from the NPCs, but also trying to get the blocks for the Block Emporium. That was original, and it gave you a greater purpose than just completing the tasks. The map did not have any "epic builds", but I know that in the sequal, the creator will add some. I usually don't like open-world maps very much, but after playing this map, I may have to rethink my preferences.
Concept of story: 8/10 Execution of story: 7/10 Challenges/Puzzles: 5/10 Landscape and scenery: 5/10 Overall difficulty: 6/10 Originality: 8/10
