It went really well right up until the first intersection... I am trying to figure out how to fix the lighting lag issues in 1.3.2 without downgrading to 1.2.5. I've tried the NoLagg bukkit plugin but so far that hasn't done anything useful. I'll keep messing around with it and let you know if I figure it out.
That said, the first few hours were really great. This is a really well-designed map, Amalon. You *******.
Just try to push through the lag and take out some enderp crystals, that's what's causing the lag. 1.3.2 doesn't like them.
Want to send me a download link? I can just go on MCedit and delete those.
I finally managed to remove them with brute force (and a plugin) ... I had to fly to each pillar, hope i was next to them, and run a command. Amalon, you sure did put a lot of those things in there, heh. But King, we should be able to resume streaming of that next time

Good job, then! Sorry about how many there were, but I'm glad you could get it to work.
I made the map waaaay back in 1.0 - back when lighting was stable. Those ender crystals were awesome back then.
So besides [REDACTED], what ARE you working on atm? Cause really, i loved both your map, and i really want to see more o_O
I'm currently working on a PvP Bed-Wars styled map. The only other CTM stuff I've been working on is a different map that just bores me too much to the point of not working on it. Which is why I'm trying out a PvP map.
Amalon if you're interested, Darkphan posted a Twitch highlight of when we found that. I'd stopped streaming because of framerate issues I was having, but he got a nice little video of my reaction.
Hi,
So i started Cuttthroat Caverns today, and i got to the first intersection. But, as soon as i got down the hall (Where the gravel fell away into lava), i was in sight of the intersection, i started lagging horribly. Like, lag that i didnt know where i was going, and ive had to close out many ,times, and i put all my setting on the lowest quality & fastest speed. Other areas work fine, but in the intersection it wont. It takes a whole food heart about every 2 seconds, even whne i dont move. Is there a way i can make it stop lagging? And i heard a little tnt, so could that be the problem? or should i just leave myself in the intersection for a few mnutes to load? Thanks!
And, how you said to try and destroy the ender things (What are they?), i cant. By the time i get to the middle of the intersection, it brings me back to the hall before. I cant go any further, i've explored everything before there. Now i have nothing to do in it til i can get past it
the issue is that the abundance of ender crystals in a block space derps with the lighting at a super fast rate, creating constant lighting updates and lag. The issue came up in 1.3.2, which the map shouldn't be played on anyways. To fix the problem, you need to go in and shoot the ender crystals with a bow or something.

Gotta go fast, sanik
Fair enough. I hate skeletons too.
I tried loading it up in 1.2.5 and using the lag fix you linked, but that didn't do anything.

Maps beaten: Spellbound Caves. (In progress: Blight Castle, Cutthroat Caverns, Vinyl Fantasy; progress at http://www.youtube.com/keegami )
I am. I'm working on 2, at the moment.
REAAAALLY slowly, but still working on them.

That's been there, like, almost a year. I'm sure it has nothing to do with you. Besides, I'm sure there's nothing even useful in there.

You're alive! :DDDDDD
Welcome back.
You don't need to keep LPing it, but I would recommend finishing it. I like the end-game areas.
