So, i'm lagging like crasy at the first intersection... Have this happend to any of you guys?
I'm playing on the latest snapshot btw, maybe that's the problem...
In the past players have mentioned lag around there. It might be from the abundancy of ender crystals, or from nether fences. Probably ender crystals, though. They seem to cause a ton of lighting errors which result in lag ever since 1.2.5.
So Amalon, i really really loved Cutthroat Caverns, i mean.. It was so good, especially Throne of the Colussus i loved. (Hated, but it was really good ), but i wanted to ask, are you currently developing The Ruthless Regions 3?
Ruthless Regions #3 will be a remake of malicious isle. I am working on* a map to start off a completely different series, which will be better than anything the ruthless regions ever could be, though.

You need to work on your next map. I'm lacking things to play. Lethamyr sucked, Waking Up was ragequit-worthy, and I refuse to play VFII before playing VFI, and I'm not in a ctm map mood...right now.

I am playing this map and it's awesome. However, when I go into the Intersection 1, I start to lag a lot. Is this because of the chunks loading? Sorry that I didn't read the upper posts. I guess the ender crystals was the problem.
Yeah, unfortunately, in 1.2+, ender crystals - when there are lots of them in the same block space (done to create a larger explosion) - horribly wreck the lighting of that chunk, causing lag.

Well hello again, it is me, from the front page, playing your second map, Cutthroat Caves, waiting for the first night to be over with storming rain.
Dairy day 1.
I wake up.. I feel like crap. That is how I always feel when I wake up from a dungeon into another dungeon, when is this nightmare going to end!? I've looked around the place and it is huge, it looks a bit like a dungeon I've done a long time ago, but this could be a lot more dangerous, I wonder what is going to happen..
A bit later, I find out that where I woke up is a lot of wood with some bookcases.. This could've been someones home.. Where did he get the wood? Anyhow, I collected some of it, got myself ready, made tools, mined stone, planted seeds at the water and dirt I found nearby, and I passed out once out of hunger and I ate zombie flesh from a zombie I killed.. The sun is about to rise, so I'd better get going, I'll leave the Dairy here for the time being..

Sounds like "fun". I like the imagination in your story telling.
It went really well right up until the first intersection... I am trying to figure out how to fix the lighting lag issues in 1.3.2 without downgrading to 1.2.5. I've tried the NoLagg bukkit plugin but so far that hasn't done anything useful. I'll keep messing around with it and let you know if I figure it out.
That said, the first few hours were really great. This is a really well-designed map, Amalon. You *******.

Ah, thanks! The derpy youtube subbox is unreliable for channels like yours and Three_Two's with less subscribers, so this will help a ton.
