Ah..It's been a while since I've been here (even though I never post). Good to see your playerbase is growing Amalon.
Now to business.
I was wondering whether you have heard of this particular application. Basically, it removes all (if not most of) the lighting glitches in your map, with the only downside being an invisible ladder being added here and there.
I moved onward to the Malicious survival island. "Sadistic" might be a better term. getting my tree farm going and making my first stone tools was a tad difficult when the island was a swirling nightmare of fire and poison. I think you went a bit overkill on the spawners on the surface. o_O
I have to applaud what I'll simply call "dynamic cave systems". Painful, but nifty.
The caves had so much TNT rigged to them the passages reshaped themselves massively as I walked through them. That was pretty cool. And painful, very painful.
Several of the puzzles deep in the caves I solved by getting waaay above the spawners and dropping TNT on them. I don't know if that was the intention, but it definitely made them easier.
And as usual I end up going to everywhere except the place with the brewing station and supplies for infinite fire resistance potions, ending up there last. That's my fault, really. The diamond armor really gives a false sense of security when a main risk is falling off cliffs into the void.
Also I think I found the grass....
REALLY deep in the cave system there was a tiny, incredibly well guarded patch of grass. I never found any silk touch items, so I can't get it to the surface.
I also saw the nether was nothing but a giant plane of grass, strange. You might add more there. Maybe a sponge block on your monument and a big fortress in the nether to get it. Again lacking silk touch for that grass.
...but I couldn't retrieve it intact, so I just put a dirt block from it on the monument. Done?
RIP Scott and Jimmy's Cutthroat Caverns series. Alas, everyone...my map is gone. I may work harder in the future to try and look into the conversion errors I'm having, but long story short...my map is broken, and unplayable. And by that I mean it restarted. I don't know why or how...but it did. And Jimmy and I don't feel like redoing the whole series. So, we're starting Infernal Sky, by Vechs. However, I'm going to stay in this thread, and I may mod some items into a survival world and play this map SSP. I have to finish it now But...yeah :/ Please continue watching me, and I'll do the same! Hey, I guess I can get back to AngryTurtleHead's videos now that I can't play my map xD

I double checked this lastest version. Should be working! If not, good luck in your next series(s).
This is an unofficial version of 64-bit MCedit, possibly unstable.
Good luck making more maps with this!
(Do I win anything? :3)
That's the same version of MCedit I've been using recently. Apperantly it isn't that it didn't work - it just spawned a bunch of regularly generated chunks where there should be sandstone (Sandstone? Whaaaaat?). Perhaps I should generate a bunch of chunks and use that ladder thing? Dunno. Also, you win a prize: sadism! From me, to you. ^^

First (official) completion of Malicious Isle! You win a genuine smiley face from me. ":)" Congrazzles!
Sorry I've been hijacked by other stuff, so nothing from me for at least a few days (hopefully, Friday) and things are still moving along not at all with the next map =)
Vinyl Fantasy II beta testing went well, I assume? That looks like one heckuvva map there.

That is known as the "repopulation" bug. As of now, there is no current way to fix it (but you probably know that) and it does not only affect mapmakers; there have been cases of it occurring in normal custom maps which have had MCedit used on then. Kinda sucks that you have been affected though >.<
In the meantime, maybe you can try the Ladder Mod on Cutthroat Caverns so people without Lights Out (me) can enjoy it too.
.....And yay, personal sadism! I'm screwed now aren't I.T_T

Hmm, ok... But y u no use lights out mod? Honestly, I think invisible vines would have been better, because players can't harvest them. :F
Hello there Amalon.
I've started a playthrough of your Malicious Isle which I am thoroughly enjoying so far.
Incase anyone is interested here are the first 3 episodes.
Episode 1

"Deathfest" is quite normal for the sadistic malicious isle. I look forward to watching these when I have the time.
"Hey Vechs, I was playing around in Minecraft and discovered that if you give yourself item 17, with a block id of 4 or greater, such as "/give player 17 64 4", then you have a normal wood block that cannot be used in the crafting grid. You are actually able to harvest these blocks and place them, but you cannot actually make mooden planks out of them, I thought that this might be useful for you in your maps, so you could put wood in a building buthave the player not be able to do anything useful.
Interesting mod! I might try it out once I find a working 64bit version of MCedit for Windows. (If anyone can give me a link, that would be great!)
You looked, didn't you.
Well, looking forward to it! I can't wait to see what that monster can do. Your uploads will take seconds, eh?
No, I didn't look actually o.o

Yes, it does often have either a fever or a cold, or a combination of the two.
