In recognition of my favourite Zelda game so far (this might change quite soon), I decided 6 months ago to begin recreating Twilight Princess in Minecraft.
Since then, I've spent about 80 hours working on it directly (and probably another 40 indirectly, with in-game research and all). It's been a long, hard, process with lots of frustration, revelation, and learning, and I'm still nowhere near done. Go figure.
But I've decided to post my progress so far, along with a video to show it off.

Hyrule Castle - 5%
Castle town - 75%
East Hyrule Field - 50%
Lake Hylia - 80%
Everything else - Negligible.
Of course, there is one blaring issue with this map. It is rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise from what it actually is in the game (that is, if you're looking at the Wii version, which is what I'm replicating). The reason being that after a long decision process, I needed to do it in order to fit it into biomes. I didn't want Lake Hylia to be frozen, or have Castle town blanketed in snow (as neat as that sounds), so I needed to make it so. On the plus side, once Hyrule Castle is finished, it will have an excellent sunset view.
Edit: So after a long time of neglect, the world stopped working properly. However, thanks to the efforts of Youtube user L Lawlie, it's now available again.
You are all free to use this for whatever you desire. I'm no longer working on it, so I'd be happy to see someone complete it one day. :3
Download link should be working again. Sorry, I accidentally deleted it while sweeping through my dropbox folder. -.-;
As for an update, I'm not currently working on this any more. I've just got many other things that are more important. But feel free to work on it yourselves, and if you make any improvements or additions, I'd like to see it myself. Perhaps there's some way people could work on it individually and then combine it in the end. I haven't explored the idea much.

You can use map making tools to exchange the biome.

You should use and NPC mod and make it fully playable! :smile.gif:
