Summoning of Iugo is an action-packed adventure that has just been released! It features a mountain elf city, a mushroom dwarf village, and an evil demon that requires slaying!
THE LONG-AWAITED FULL RELEASE OF SUMMONING OF IUGO IS THIS WEEK! BE ONE OF THE FIRST TO PLAY! DOWNLOAD HERE!
Installation instructions:
Using WinRAR, 7zip, or a similar program, extract the folder 'Summoning of Iugo 1.0' into your Minecraft saves folder. In windows, this can be found by pressing the windows key and R simultaneously, entering '%appdata%\.minecraft' in the dialog box, then pressing OK.
Rules:
-no breaking or placing blocks, except for:
-only clay may be broken
-you may only place ladders on brick blocks
-play on easy, normal, or hard
-you may kill animals for food and cook their meat in furnaces
-notes are stored in chests, as maps
-hidden items are placed in chests, furnaces, and dispensers
Texture pack:
There is no required texture pack. As a recommended texture pack, you can try Dokucraft, which fits the map's theme well. This map was designed to look good in default textures (trust me, it's hard to do that) but will probably fit any texture pack well. Note that you need MCPatcher for Dokucraft.

Let's Plays:
I have spent many hours on this adventure map and I am really excited for the official release. If you like my map, or if you have questions, comments, or criticism, please leave feedback! I would love to hear what you have to say!

This is not an official release, but I need people to test the map and give feedback. I plan on releasing the full version along with the release of Minecraft this week. Please note that this map requires 1.9 Pre Release 5, which can be found here. (1.9 Pre 6 has a bug where wooden doors do not work, so it is not recommended.)
If you would like to test, all you need to do is reply to this thread, and I will PM you the link.

this looks great! i would love to test it :happy.gif: i just know i'll love it!
Eh, does it still work for 1.8?
Because 1.9 hasn't come out yet, and most people are still using 1.8..
I have a 1.9 jar, but most of my friends have no idea how to switch to a 1.9 jar, and I'd like to use it for multiplayer.

No, the reason why it doesn't work in 1.8 is because it uses a lot of netherbrick (for the demon). I suggest waiting for the official release which will be in about a week. Sorry about that! I can send you the link anyway if you wish.
I've recently started reviewing maps (aren't posted yet) and I need a few more before I do post it. I think this will be an AWESOME addition, even though it is still in Beta.
I won't be too harsh on bugs, cause... It's in Beta... but I base the map on: Gameplay
Was it buggy? Aesthetics
Was it pretty?
and Forum
Was it neat?
