What is this map? Chunk Survival is a strange cross between Skyblock and a Vechs' Map. I've given you one chunk on which you must survive, and I've given you the proper materials to do it, but I haven't made it easy. Be prepared to find traps, monsters and trickery in this map.
Is the reward worth the risk?
1. Survive. That means stay alive, but it also means to live: change your surroundings to your comfort; make a home.
2. Don't play on peaceful. If you do, then what's the point?
3. I will dangle rewards in many places to lure you to your death. Enjoy.
Throughout the chunk you'll find my hand carefully crafting every single block. You'll find treasure and also pain.
Special Note: Yes, this was designed for multiplayer, but you can play it in single player JUST FINE!
What is this map? Chunks SMP is my 2nd map! I've redefined the way I build maps since the original Chunk Survival. This map is bigger, harder and much more deadly. I've used less spawners, more traps, and even more themed scenery. Follow the story as you dig furhter and further down.
The difficulty rises as you get lower into the earth.
Survive: Try not to die, and even more, try to win. Hungry? Eat food, don't jump off.
Collect: I've placed some random things around. Collect them all, including at least 8 sponges.
Build: Convert the landscape into your home. Build defenses and security, as well as comforts.
Also, don't play on peaceful. It's not meant for it.
I need Pictures! You need pictures for this one, too? Okay!
I need videos! Plop.
Where can I get this?! Well, you can get it... RIGHT HERE:
And just as i come close to finishing v1.0, v1.1 comes out.
Its a pretty good map in v1 with plenty of nice "presents" in it.
I was wondering where all the sponges were. I thought i did see one but blocks in that general area exploded soon after so I'm a bit unsure about that.
Just wondering though. What exactly is ment by the "Reach the end of the world" challenge? Or is that a secret I have to figure out myself? Or is it just making a bridge to a more stable location?
