Welcome to Bomber Arena 2! This is version 2 of my Bomber Arena map.
Map and History:
This map was made in 1.7 by me. This map is based on game bomberman, as you have 4 people stand on each end of the arena and blow each other up. The map is over a void, so that players with low
specing computers won't lag as much when tnt is set off. This map is meant for multiplayer, for obvious reasons . The floors of each arena is powered with redstone, and thus allowing the TNT
blocks to explode. Some tactics are but not limited to:
Placing tnt a few blocks higher
Using tnt to stop your opponents from moving
Sprinting to avoid TNT explosions or to find your opponents.
Have fun; it is basically rules set by the people playing on the map
In 3 of the 4 arenas, there is an armor chest for optional defense.
The only major rule is not to pillar to the "bleachers" surrounding the arenas. They are just meant for decorations.
Server settings; Have mobs and animals on, and pvp off.
How to play:
Playing is fairly simple. You will spawn in the center arena, and this will have paths leading to the arenas. Reading the signs will help identify them.
Once you arrive on the "bleachers", each player will pick a corner. Each corner has a sign and a color block identifying the tower. Simply climb the spiral stairs to the bottom floor and arrive in the lobby:
Once inside, you will see some chests that contain TNT. You will only need a few stacks, so it is not advise to take a full inventory full. Step on the stone pressure pad to open the steel door and begin the fight.
Version 2 has 8 arenas!
The Bomber Arena:
This arena has the traditional bomberman style of play. There are items within the chests in the arena, and you can use the items to your advantage. Fixed for 1.8 and 1.0, items in the chests compensate the hunger feature. There are some potions for instant heal, or splash potions to affect your opponents.
The Sand Arena:
This Arena has pillars of sand. As TNT blows up, sand either scatters or shifts. This makes obstacles and you can use them to parkour or pillar. Just don't pillar to the "bleachers" as it's consider
cheating, but pillaring to the top of the sand tower is ok.
The Darkness Arena:
This arena is enclosed in obsidian to make a dark room effect. The room is initially with torches on the top, but the more you use TNT, the more torches are destroyed, and thus making the room
darker. The darker it becomes, the more mobs start to spawn.
The Void Arena:
The void arena is very similar to the darkness arena, however you are fighting in the void fog. This brand new arena prevents players from seeing your name and makes more for a sneak attack. Multiple layers of glowstone on the ceiling is to prevent mobs from spawning, this way all you have to worry about is the other players.
The Curse Arena:
This arena uses the concept of splash potions to effect you. Right as you enter the arena, you are splashed with a 3 minute slowness potion, slowing all movement and making running from TNT that much difficult. Quickly eliminate your opponents before 3 minutes, or the match will turn into a “classic” arena style map
The lava arena:
In this arena, the obsidian pillars have been replaced with columns of lava. TNT can fly though the lava if multiple layers are placed on the floor, so watch out. You are only given 1 set of fire protection leather armor, and 1 splash potion of fire resistance for 1:24 minutes. Use them wisely, although the match will probally not end that long.
The Animal Arena aka Antvenom ‘s Cow Slaughter House
Dedicated to Antvenom, this arena has cow spawners all over the top and are constantly falling into the arena. Not only are they very loud and annoying, they block your patch and movement for TNT. This can make it difficult to move from your opponents, or even your own TNT once placed.
The Classic Arena:
This arena is the original arena without the dirt blocks. This was the prototype of the map, and the base for the other arenas. This arena is meant just to have fun over and over again without resetting the server with a new copy of the map.
I personally have a Youtube account and I'm a Machinima Realm Director.
It seems that all Adfly links to Mediafire automatically go to the homepage at the moment. The temporary fix is to right click the part where it says "skip this ad" and copy the link address and paste it in your URL. This should help until this problem is fixed.
