This update will hopefully be the last one in this map, fixing all known bugs so far.
Also I've added a new area (right after the old ending) that allows the player to continue for about another half hour of gameplay with new content and a way better "ending" than before!
+ Added tons of 1.0 content like potions, villagers etc etc...
youv fixed the gates? WHOOOOOO and... if you did something to the ... forgoten forest like thing near the corner of wasserfalen's wall imma freak
Actually you've gotten the idea :tongue.gif: Everything populated and made playable.
Also I couldnt really fix the gates since it wasnt a building bug, its a minecraft bug. The end of the redstone is just not loaded when the player hits the lever in the guardians cave, thats why the redstone doesnt power up in the unexplored area and doesn't open the gates. Notch really needs to fix that... Anyway I came to the conclusion that installing a failsafe (hidden lever near the gates) is the best way to solve this issue.
Just Wow!
I am an adventure map creator myself, using only single player commands and too many items, and it would have taken me years to do this. How did you do this so quickly? It seems mind-blowing.
I like the use of mind heist in the trailer.

If you add worldedit to that modlist you can do the same :] Although all buildings are handcrafted, only the bigger walls and caves are worldeditted.
Why oh why did you choose to use the Papyrus font for your logo...
I am inclined to not download it for the usage of such an overused and overrated font, but I will check this map out anyway.
Probably its used a lot cause its a very good looking font... And if THAT is really your map downloading criteria, then you probably shouldnt download it...
seen it, FAIL!... ok so he was kinda blint to NOT see the entrance to.. waserfalen?
but i do love his videos and stuff..
btw what is the prox. date of the new part of the map? :tongue.gif:
Yea I've also like the part where he claimed to have inspected every single block around the city, but couldnt see the huge entrance on its side :tongue.gif:
And as sorry as I am I cannot give an approx date for the new map simply because I havent really started yet, I have made several buildings that I'll use on the map and I know what story I'm going after, but I didnt start with the terrain yet even though I know pretty clearly what I'm going to do.
I will probably start working on that in the first few january weeks since I got a few days off then. And belive me, once Im in the "zone" with building, it'll go very fast :wink.gif:
This is the best map i,v played and i play adventure maps more than survival. This map has inspired me to start on my own adventure map that I can only hope might hold a candle to this one. I can't wait for the next part. Here is a link to my map if you want to see the progress of it: RAWR Laboratories. Again I love this map and can't wait for the updates. :biggrin.gif:
You wake up in a tiny treehouse, asking yourself what has happened in the past few hours, but you can't remember a thing. Slowly your memory returns, you were sailing on your ship, the Swiss Conquerer One. You remember people screaming, remember that you've never been as scared before, remember that you lost friends.
Explore the world beautiful world of lux perpetua, solve riddles, finish difficult as well as easy quests in all sorts of locations. Maybe in the end you'll be able to take revenge for what has happened to you.

Lux Perpetua is a solid map. By far the highlight of this map is the architecture. Amazing structures, towns and villages were crafted to near perfection, with great attention to detail. Even the simple things looked like they went through careful planning to build. But architecture is only a part of making a good adventure map, there are still many other categories.
The creator went big with this map, making it a very long to play through. In some ways this was good, I enjoyed finding new places, and completing some of the minor side quests on the side. In some ways though, it seemed a bit unrealistic, almost as if he made a bunch of huge structures and tried to connect them with a story. After leaving the first town, I got a bit lost at what I was supposed to be doing in regards to the story. I found the map to be less straight forward after leaving Skyden. I would suggest that the creator add something to help direct the player.
When you combine being a bit confused with the story, and long routes in between towns and epic structures, it leads to having some moments of being unmotivated to continue the map. This may not be the case for everyone, some people may have had better luck figuring out the story, and where to go. Other than that this map really does have a lot to offer, and helps retain attention with some humorous moments and fun quests. The creator also did a good job with using many of the new features from the 1.8 update. Vines on the houses in Skyden really helped make the town visually appealing.
Overall, this map is really good. It makes good use of 1.8 and has outstanding architecture. I would recommend this map to anyone looking for a solid adventure map.
Best.Map.Ever. Oh and also have you ever considered making it a custom/survival map. Like an rpg-ish type map? Just a suggestion,it seems as if it would work well.

I never made one and wouldnt know what it means to do an RPG map, if you could enlighten me what exactly you mean with "making it a custom/survival map" then I can probably do something about it.
I guess its a glitch on your side, the texure pack works just fine for me.
Hehe I really enjoy watching your videos, and will guarantee you that you'll like the murphy mansion. Keep us updated.

Sometimes I wish I had your creativity.

How about jumping? I heard there's sprint jumps since 1.8 :tongue.gif:
Clicking on the download link mostly does the job ^^

Probably gonna put it in my signature since I cannot find anything good myself.
