And I used a dirty little trick to place blocks below the bedrock, so that I could get all of the dirt. My only grass block is safe under the chest. Above the crafting table there is my cobblestone generator. On the left there is my cactus farm and in the center there is my frozen infinite water pool.
I tried this out with a friend and... Well, it didn't go too well. In fact, I've got an entire video of failed attempts:
We're gonna try again soon, and hopefully not do so badly this time :tongue.gif:
BEST. MAP. EVER. A must play for people who want to have a challenge, but not too irritating or difficult. Has a mix of adventure, puzzle, and survival bundled up all in one little package. :3
2 tips I'd like to give everybody:
- watch out for the snow. If it snows and you did not cover your saplings or mushrooms, etc, you will lose them. I lost my only mushroom this way and had to restart.
- Use a cactus to make a mob grinder!
Has anyone heard of snow killing a tree sapling? I planted my last sapling on some dirt with a couple of torches around it, suddenly it started snowing since I'm running 1.9 and I turn around the sapling is gone. Obviously it was my last sapling and thus I failed the map.
Has anyone else run into this ?

I'm playing in 1.8.1 so i don't need to worry about snow
AWWWWWW YEA.
I would have liked 7 pieces of sand, especially now that we're in 1.8+
You need 6 pieces of glass to make glass panes, and the 7th would be for a cactus. Just an idea, but that way I can make a better looking house with up to 16 windows instead of only 2.
Well, I'm up to here:

EDIT:
Lava flowing to flowing water is cobblestone.
Lava flowing from the top to flowing water is stone.
Water flowing to still lava is obsidian.
Entendeu? :biggrin.gif:
I acidentally made a stone generator instead of a cobblestone generator... XD
