Nice =P, but you can't have anything past the bedrock level. Lava and water stop going down when you get down to that level. So you have cobble all the way down to that level and then it stops.
Has anyone been able to get chickens to spawn in their Skyblock world? I've got a sheep and pigs so far, and I know someone else has got a cow to spawn, but I haven't heard anything about chickens in skyblock yet.

I don't think I bothered saving them and breeding them cause they are rather annoying to deal with, but I do have a bunch of eggs stashed that I can use to get them if I wanted =P.

The problem with Adf.ly is that there are so many fake download ads that contain crap like that that it becomes confusing to people as to what to actually click. Just remember with adf.ly is to ALWAYS click the skip button at the top right corner. No matter what the middle part says, JUST press the skip button, and it will take you right to where you want to go.

Actually, the 30 million blocks wide is the USABLE map. After that, you get weird rounding errors in the math that makes the map weird for a while. If you go even further, the game will crash trying to generate and display the land.
However, the land is THERE. If you ask the minecraft engine what type of block was as X=(any integer), Y=0, z=0 the math that generates the blocks *WILL* spit out a block type.

For Version 3.0 and 3.1, add nether warts, soul sand, some clay blocks, and also for Aether Mod users add Aether Mod skyblock. In the Nether instead of all glowstone add Netherrack instead.
You should really Make more put more stuff in the Chest :sad.gif: I Had to restart the game 3times because i didn't have enough Dirt... and how about you put 3 pieces of iron so then when you fall in the void with a bucket you could make another one :laugh.gif:

Many of the ads on adf.fy are legit ads, but unfortunately there are a ton of crap ones as well. Its a shame that he has to use this, but NoobCrew should be allowed to at least get a tiny bit back from his work into his maps. (He is in a sense providing free service to us). But unfortunately, as to your statement for advertising as a means of making money, the problem is that many things that we enjoy are funded by the advertising. You think TV is there for the programs? Its mostly for the ads that play during them. Its just a part of life that there are ads, but its IS a great shame that there has to be those kind of ads.
(And lets try to keep this on topic, not just discussing advertising.)

People would use the iron for stupid reasons probably - and having only one bucket adds to the challenge (if you lose it, just restart or spawn one in)

I seriously consider restarting my map if I lose even one dirt block to the void. The map should not cater to your inability to conserve. Honestly I'm not sure what you're saying about the dirt here? I assumed you were losing dirt by breaking blocks and letting them fall, but that seems too obviously incompetent. What do you not have enough dirt for, exactly?

If I didn't backup my world before and after doing anything remotely risky or significant I would have literally killed myself by now.
But I really think it's up to you to decide whether or not a backup qualifies as cheating. Even if someone told you that you had broken the rules by copying your save, how much would that matter? Ultimately, the only rules that you follow are the ones you choose to follow anyways. Forbidding backups would, to me, be such a terrible idea that I would ignore it and backup my world anyways.

yea like it has been said before did you click one of the "DOWNLOAD NOW" links in the middle? with adf.ly you are supposed to click the skip in the top right after 5 seconds.
hey i am wondering how much money have you made so far from adf.ly? I am thinking of making some custom maps (mainly the "survival" and "it's up to you" idea of skyblock)(I already have an idea for one, just thought of it while typing this) and I was going to use adf.ly when I made them so i wanted to know how much money you got.
It says on the corner of every page "$5.00/10,000 visitors" but 10,000 visitors seems like a lot.
so do you mind if I basically "copy" the idea of skyblock? I will make my version have much more than yours so you will barely be able to tell that it is basically a copy. If you want I will give you credit for "Inspiring" me to make it.
