ALRIGHT! I have tested it and this map plays through pretty well! It should also work in Minecraft 1.0.0.
This map takes over an hour to beat, more if you can't find the items you need to win, in reality the time it takes you depends on how easily you can fight your way through the rooms. It has you going through this huge castle in a massive mountain valley. You will go through hard combat (depending on how good you are at fighting) with limited supplies. It is a really good idea to explore and look around the rooms, you might find something to help you on your way.
The story and instructions are in the notes file that is in the download, the story being told as you read the notes when told by signs, the story isn't very highly explained in this first part, and is somewhat up to the user figuring it out by what the notes hint about things.
Future plans:
-Fix any bugs any of you might tell me about.
-Fix beds not working without peaceful on.
-MAKE THAT FREAKING TRAILER I KEEP FORGETTING ABOUT!
-Make sure it works on SMP. (Kinda does, but needs testing)
-Maybe make notes that are better for SMP.
-Part 2 and 3 to the story.
Things fixed in 1.1:
-Now if you don't spawn in a bed you should spawn at a place you can get back into.
-Added to the notes that you can turn on peaceful to use beds.
-Added more houses to end.
-Made unfair tower easier.
-Fixed a few holes and things that were messed up.
-One or two other fixes.

-More stuff I am to lazy to write.
Installing whatnot:
Just download it, open up the ELCDG folder, put ELCDG in your saves, Glacetexture in your texturepacks, and don't forget to read the rules in the notes folder, and also read the notes in the notes folder!

Hello again, not really posting any update right now on the map, I am waiting till it is far enough along to be able to actually play the adventure before I start doing lots of updates.
But what I am actually here for is, I need help with something, and I want to know if anyone would be willing to help me with one thing in it! You'll get into the credits for making it if you do!
This was a highly detailed Castlevania like adventure. A wonderful environment with iced passages, vines, and a ruined look. A reasonably challenging mix of fighting, jumping from ice block to ice block along the outside of a tower over an immense fall gave a tight feeling in my stomach.
Overall I would rate this 10/10 for it's wonder.
Did not regret playing this one.
p.s. I loved the ruined buildings at the very end.

And for everyone else, I am adding to the first post the bugs he told me about that I will fix today and hopefully post in a little while. These bugs include:
- You respawn in some random cave with no way out.
- Beds don't work because there are to many monsters around (something I completely forgot about being in 1.0.0).
- This one part on top of a tower is to hard and causes unfair death more then anything. (although if you go to it at day it isn't so bad)

Alright update! Fixed a few things, improved a few things. But could not fix the bed issue, so just turn your game on peaceful to use them. Also worked on the trailer, but the editing program glitched and I will have to try editing it again later.

As someone who knows only a little french, I completly read the title wrong. I thought it said "Escape from the House of Ice-Cream". Was a little surprised. lol
