hmm really? lol after i finished ep.2 i found a nice ammount of iron and coal in my mine XD. yeah this map is really hard with all these mobs spawning at night and then since creepers stay spawned its like "That'ssss a very nice inventory you have there." Boom type deal its very difficult lol made me die near the end of ep.2, ep 1 is up btw ill just insert it.
Wow, thanks a lot. I subscribed to you on youtube. I'm liking the commentary so far. I'll be adding this to the thread in a 'videos' spoiler or something. Also, I didn't even notice that the map on Minecraft was called "The Legendary Squares". I forgot to change it to the title of this topic. Oh well. That wasn't your mistake for calling it that, though. Thanks again.
lol ill correct myself in ep.3 in ep.2 i made the mine deeper and learned whom not to hug lol. so now im revamping my living quarters before ep.3 so im not wasting an episode on that. hopefully if i get enough gear ill be ready to venture into the dark abyss you made
Ep.2 Lol i think i just got trolled by a creeper XD
it seems like my quality went down Oo uhm whaat the heck. lol
Nice. You seem to have had quite the creeper problem. I wish I could reduce the amount of creepers, cause there seem to be way more of those than zombies and skeletons. Not really much I can do about that, though.
Anyhow, I'm gonna upload pictures to the topic now. You can look at them if you want, or discover the next islands on your own.
Is there any gravel? You should add some if there isn't.
Yeah, there is. It's kind of hidden. It's on the 4th square. I'll make it more obvious in the next update, cause people don't seem to notice the gravel.
I was just working on my map, so I thought I'd record to show how I do some of this stuff. It's not really a big secret, but I thought it would be cool anyways. I'm making a really huge ravine in this video.
hey ocomobock whats in the big o'l hole you made in the 1st island i went exploring in it but found nothing but mobs was there any special treasure hidden?

Oh, sorry for the late response. Yeah, there's supposed to be a cave there, but the entrance got messed up. The cave is still there, but it's cut off by dirt. Just dig around a little, and you'll find the entrance.
The reason that happened is because I replaced the dirt layer with more dirt to make sure I replaced any blocks that weren't supposed to be there, such as stone or something. Then it filled up that part of the cave.
dirt? i didnt see any but once i upload the vid you can probably see what i missed and be all like over this way or something lol
Oh, I thought you were saying it didn't look like there was a cave at all. In fact, I may have fixed that by now. Caves currently don't have anything too special in them; it basically just makes ores more noticeable, and lets you fight tons of monsters. That's pretty much it so far. I might add more things to the caves. I might be totally missing what you're talking about again, so if I am, sorry..

the big ol cave you put like 3 rows of web over that thingy lol so just mobs and some ore, guess il stock up on the iron and coal i find in it then make ep.4 the episode where i connect the first 2 islands, btw you should make some challenges for people to complete while playing this map.

You are actually completely right. I'll start working on a challenge list right now. Looking forward to episode 4.
oh wow i just tried recording the 4th episode and appearently it reset my settings so it has no sound so ill just make a new ep.4 that is after i build my crappy bridge lol
I remember a map a whole ago that was pretty much this, there were about 6 squares, you had to build a bridge to the north to get to other blocks
the final one was a giant ass dungeon, i also remember a desert one with lapis in it
also how the hell could this be considered anything like skyblock
SB: Vastly limited supplies, you build your own damn island because you only get about 12 to start
This: vastly unlimited basic supplies, hidden good stuff, and you know GIANT SQUARES OF ROCK AND DIRT
People who think this is the same: Idiots
anyhoo, i did like it. and if you added anything, then good job.
