Just wanted to write and say that I'm thoroughly impressed with this adventure map; I've just finished playing it.
Even though I got the 'average' ending and just 12 gold blocks in total, it was an incredible amount of fun. This is definitely a map that I can see myself replaying again to try for the other endings.
Definitely looking forward to the sequel as well. Great work.
WOW! Eronev Mansion Adventure just passed 100,000 downloads! Amazing! Thanks to everyone who played it. I hope you're looking forward to Eronev 2: The Soul Cauldron, coming out this Friday!
The second one is coming out this Friday? This Friday as in TOMORROW?
YES!
Awesome map, congratulations. I'll have a look to the second episode soon
Just a note: I noticed that knowing where to go were a bit difficult, but that was just a minor issue. Oh, and way TOO MUCH gold to find
Keep it up.
Impressive score! As for not telling you exactly where to go all the time, it's just the style I like. Exploring and finding your own way, to me, is more rewarding than being told exactly where to go all the time. Eronev 2 has more of that "open" gameplay style, so hopefully you don't get too lost
Eronev Mansion v1.061 (Adventure 18/20) by Jigarbov Date tested/downloaded: 2012-09-22 Replay, Completed. Last time I ranted on about the Story and the background. That's taken care of, big time! The basic story is now woven in nicely and being The Great Hero is often all one need to know what's going on. I'm lousy at being any type of Hero, so I didn't thought I would enjoy this map any more than last time. But I do! Some bits are a bit boring, (minecraft rides to locations), but fits the story. If I had had the old grades, it would have been a 10/10 easily, so let's see how the new system rates it. The story is very good, but not top notch for me. I can still remove some parts, and just read the hints, (4/5). The Puzzles/Problems are very good and both lifts the story as well as entertains highly, (5/5). The Use of MC is also Major, with all that redstone being the edge of the map, (5/5). The Build is minimalistic, being very good made in a smalll area. The forest of signs is a bit un-aestethic and the cooling system has an unnecessary door out to the docks. I wish I could put 4,5, but alas, (4/5). The rather dull atmosphere now and then is just my own feeling, that I doubt I share with anybody else. It doesn't matter, that opinion isn't part of the grades any more. Total becomes 18/20.
Thanks so much for the feedback Obviously I don't intend on changing anything this late in the map, but it's still nice to hear its come a long way since its inception. Out of curiosity, which ending did you get this time?
It was all my fault, lava poured over the village and I didn't care. But I ignored saving some villagers, (rescued three I think), so it's my own fault. :-)
No, don't change anything! You can't go any further with the story, since it's too small map for it, (and that's how it should be). The forrest of signs, well we've discussed them before and they're doing their job and can't be removed, dispite being ugly.
Now I'm waiting for 1.4, because I will never download a 12wXXa. (Principle: "If it's not in the original game, it doesn't exist.") :-D
Not a bad idea, I am secretly adding some minor extras as the snapshots come around and there are still a few bugs preventing perfect play in E2. That said, it's a much different map. More in line with a CTM than a normal adventure map with more of a focus on combat that people generally thought Eronev 1 lacked. In any case I hope you enjoy the sequel and hope it answers some questions you may have had at the end of E1.
Hey everyone! Firstly, I would like to point out that this adventure map is absolutely awesome! The story is great and I love that it has different endings! I thought it was so great that I thought I would start this video series about it. My channel is extremely new, and I thought, "This is the kind of stuff I want on my channel." So great job on this map. If you guys could please critique my first episode and tell me how I did that would be great! Thank you so much for this masterpiece of a map!

Just finished for second time... Now time to start again to maximize the score and take the screenshot...
Best map I ever played!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Would donate if my parents let me...
Outstanding map!I only wish I had figured out the BRF (?) dungeon, I ended up dying and losing a couple armor pieces in the process. It appears I had solved it because I was able to get the thing at the end after I respawned. Or maybe I just gave up and skipped it. Not sure Ahh, OK I understand what happened now.
I love this map so far, my friend and I are playing it together and really enjoying the experience.
However, once you have to obey the old man and activate all the power cores, and then go to the cooling system.... the cooling system doesn't work.
There is a torch and it seems to not be on "if the torch is off, cooling systems are Offline". The levers there do not work, they don't even respond to the clicking. We trying everything, we even started all over again.
Our version is 1.3.2, we downloaded the last version of Eronev Mansion.... We don't know what is wrong and we cannot find anyone else having this problem.
Help me Obi wan Kenobi ! You are my only hope!
That area is under the spawn point, it probably isn't working because you're not set to "op" status. try /op "yourusername" and you should be able to flip the levers

haha don't ever feel like you have to donate... it's just an option there for people who want to. Just you playing the map and enjoying it is plenty enough for me!

Yeah originally it was designed that if you failed that test you wouldn't be able to rescue the villager but I changed it so you could save them either way but you get some nice surprises if you do pass it Really nice job on the score, I look forward to seeing how you go in the more difficult Soul Cauldron!
This map was so great! I especially loved the train station type thing! I did find a way to actually power on the first station and get around the lava place before I even heard the town meeting There were some minor glitches like as you can see I actually saved 6 villagers instead of 3. But this map was so great I couldn't rest until I found all of the secrets! unfortunately I didn't find all of the gold but I managed to get all of the bedrock! This was a great map but sometimes I couldn't find the path that I was supposed to go on in the beginning because I was tracking gold and bedrock. But other than that this was a great map and I am downloading the sequel right now.
Glad you enjoyed it!

YES!
Am I correct in saying it will require the snapshot, thanks to the item frames?
Haha so soon? It's been over a year since Eronev 1 x) And it's best played with the snapshot, but works perfectly fine in 1.3.2.

Thanks!
Also to reiterate, Eronev 2 is now out.
Thanks for the constructive criticism. I will use this wealth of knowledge to make my maps better in the future.
I was wondering what you meant by filling it over that high
Excellent! I hope you enjoy the maps
