This map looks really promising, I need to restart after I died like 50 TIMES IN THE PYRIMID, GREAT MAP MAN, KEEP IT UP, It would be cool to see more maps like this, alas
my final score My link. 56 blocks and 5 left over bars. i know theres more but i just gave up. tnt blew up some of the bars i needed. i found some bars in really odd locations.
its a good map, i just think it needs to be organized alittle bit more. the 3 endings threw me off.
Hey! My friends and I made a channel and are starting our own Minecraft playthrough videos. And we are starting with your map! We have editing, music, etc to keep viewers entertained. I hope you enjoy it and maybe you will even subscribe!
Great game, was a lot of fun, i enjoyed exploring through the inner workings a bit after i beat it (didn't understand 99% of the redstone useage to make this game work, but oh well). I loved all the things you had to find throughout the game, making much more than a straight-through kind of game. I did find two spots that i think were errors:
On the roof of the Mansion, you can crouch walk around one of the fences allowing you to get to the jungle/ice area before you enter the first brick tower.
And in the ice area, the Parkour challenge on the cliff side that leads to the small lava spot you have to jump over (idk if there's another parkour spot there), there's a spot that you can skip half the parkour jumps by hoping up the outer side of the cliff right below the entrance to the lava spot.
Other than those two things I found though my OCD exploration, it was a great game!
Me and the missus finally got around to playing this map.
This map was so engrossing, the story line started at a good pace and ramped itself up to full speed. I was gutted that we hadn't saved all the villagers.
Great elements of humour, we found ourselves looking around the back of NPC's to read their signs hehe.
TONS of redstone which just worked seamlessly - apart from an issue I had with the minecart dispensor (but that was kinda my fault for not paying attention)
I right clicked twice while placing a cart in to the dispensor and ended up inside the dispensor itself. Helevena shouted at me lots for that, but I did fix it :wink.gif:
I can completely sympathise with you on the sequel not being rushed. It's going to take a lot of work and time to create a sequel that matches the quality of this map (Something I do not envy you with :wink.gif: )
So thank you Jigarbov for such a wonderful map and thanks also for being one of those map developers who actually takes the time to respond to peoples posts.
Take Care
Vlad
No problem! thanks for playing it. Glad to hear you found the backs of the npc's funny! I wasn't sure when I put them in if it would be a good idea or not, but it seems that they were a good idea after all :biggrin.gif:

haha, there isn't that much gold in the game :tongue.gif: Even if you were to escape the map and go into areas you shouldn't be in, there isn't that much. Nice try though :wink.gif:

I started watching it and it looked very promising! I loved the sound effects while in the caves. It's a bit of a downer you kept breaking the rules though. Though in some cases you had an older version of the map before it as updated for the ladders so it was unavoidable.

Thanks so much! Those are the first time those bugs had been found... the first one anyway. That one by the ice parkour I already knew about but left it that way for those who were smart enough to use it ;D
I'll put a fix in for that fence though in the next update... where I also need to fix the vines I guess given that jeb keeps changing things.
looks good! 4 5 and 7 are duplicates though... looks like something messed up when rendering! Might want to delete those ones before your next part comes out so they stay consistent.
This went straight to the top of my list of minecraft adventures that i loved. It's the best adventure map i have played! I'm recommending this to /all/ my friends!
Do you mind if i spread the link to this forum topic around a bit? I want everyone to download it so they can take part in the awesomeness^^,

me and my friend finished this map and got the average ending...hmm needed to save more villagers.
took us around 3 hours to finish. had to rush a bit at the end because we were pretty busy these days
Fantastic map! 100/10 :biggrin.gif: will play again if time permits :smile.gif:
My GF and I spent about 5 or 6 hours on it in one straight play through. Here's our score!
Out of curiosity, how many villagers are there to save? We had enough heads to place it at the end, and yet 1 of the lights weren't lit up.
do you know when part 2 will be out :smile.gif:
No idea. Not before July if I had to guess.
