The map gets better and better, but also much harder. I'm at the part with the two doors, one with the desert and the "Water Temple", and the other with the secret waterway leading down to the completely dark area. I finished the water temple part, but I eventually decided I would just have to brave the dark room. So I walked around aimlessly for a little bit, telling myself I would eventually find light or something. Well I didn't. I'm now stuck in a completely black area, and I don't know what to do.
Help would be appreciated, but I'll try to figure stuff out by myself from now on. (Also, just so you know I did check out your video walk-through of the map (on YouTube), but you went to the parkour challenge and sewers first, wheras I just kept going forward and skipped those parts altogether, anyways I couldn't find which video showed the part that I was at, so I gave up.

The part that I'm stuck at is in the "Serene Meadow", which is really different from what's shown in his video. I'm at the part where you go down the waterfall and then down the ladder into the completely dark area. I can't see a thing, and I don't know how to get out or what to do. Anyway, hope you have fun on your trip, I'm looking forward to your response so I can continue your map.

Huh, that's awfully strange. I could have sworn that his playthrough had that part, but I guess I updated it afterwards... Well, if you mean you're in the redstone mine of the meadow, I think the best playthrough for that would be RadioactivFly's, which does show it. If you start at , it should guide you through it. It also helps if your brightness is set to the absolute brightest setting, because some parts are rather dark!
You should try to make a big giant Hypixel-adventure map called Herobrine's Shadows
Make it, or play it? Because I did play some of Hypixel's maps, and they're fun - but I work alone on most of my stuff, with a few little exceptions, so I couldn't make most of what he does in as little time as he... even though my current project TMM is going rather well, and is bigger than any single map of his, at this point.
As for anything Herobrine-related... eh, it probably won't happen. I don't like working with Minecraft's lore as it is.
Okay I hate to ask because if the answer is something simple I will feel kind of dumb, eheh, but I'm stuck and I can't tell if this is a glitch or something I'm not doing correctly. I'm in the wool maze and I push a button which lowers a block of wool on the floor beneath me, but I can't get down the ladder fast enough to get through the space. I can barely get down the ladder fast enough to see the block go back up so for a while I didn't even know what the button was doing.
Am I missing something or is this a glitch? Also are there any LPs since the update?

Well, at least you eventually figured it out! As far as I'm aware, the button timing is perfectly possible, as I've always gotten through on time whenever I speed-tested the map. Of course, it's a matter of figuring out the timing and the use of the button in the first place.
As for LP's since the update... most of the more well-known ones were played on previous versions, so there were a few changes since most of them - including the extended Wool Mirror. Not sure if StephenPlays' LP had that one or not, but maybe it didn't. I know there are probably newer ones that are played in the newest version, though - anything from 2013 is guaranteed to use the right one!
Anyway, which one did you see that cheated through it? I haven't seen that many of those, frankly, even though they didn't bother me all that much to begin with, haha.
We (Peter and I) are having a wonderful time with your map! I must say, you've done a very good job.
