I don't know how you guys do it. Its hard enough to make one make one map much less be working on 4 at once! My goodness. Also, in regards to the map I'm working on, we want to hold off on doing too much redstone until the new update. Anyone have any ideas as to what will be changing? I know redstone, but anything specific?
Thanks for the link, uploading the vid now! In terms of map making, we don't like to use mods or tools. Everything we do is hand made, from the redstone to buildings and even the super long roads.
Edit: Quick question. Anyone know a way to sign books with a different name than your minecraft name?
Looked at the picture, and had to double take. I thought that was Antlia's! He showed this to me back when he was still working on it He's a great friend from the Noxcrew
Pretty much the same.
I saw more enormous rooms with crazy terrain.
I saw more signs that pulled me 'out of character'.
I...
... don't think the end paid off.
I've not played it - now you make me kinda want to, just to see what you mean.
And I still don't understand how people spend over 10 hours on CTM Maps I buzz through those things like nobody's business. Heck VF2 was like a 5 hour deal for me.

I have to be a Zisteau about every CTM map I play.
I rearranged the order in my map queue, based on my personal desire to play certain maps, but also to help support map makers who REGULARLY participate in the discussions here, in community collaborations, or on my YouTube and Twitter channels.
Hey Ron, what is your next project? Jupiter? Another collaboration map? Superheroes sequel?
I am not commited to any project right now, other than playing and rating maps, primarily via YouTube.
I have a few maps in various stages of design or build, but I'm not in the right mood to build. And my preferred tools don't work anymore.
I have an idea for the dasButtocks collaboration, but not sure when the deadline is.
I am having some weird issues with my map after the 1.4.6 update... I've seen two LPs (one single player, one multiplayer) today where people suddenly got a massive lagspike, then they crashed, and after logging back into the game the chunk where they were before disappeared. Is it a known bug or is there something wrong with the map? It never happened before 1.4.6 ;/
I haven't upgraded yet, nor heard of issues, except one person told me all of their signs are blank.
Rating: 20/20
Regarding the rating; there are a few minor bugs with this map that are being addressed.

I've got to say based on the first video nothing really jumps out at me as being amazing.
I realize that ; for collaborations, I tend to rate based on the 'peak' entries vs taking an 'average'. So one really great entry can 'carry' the rest, as long as there are no huge stinkers. I know how much work it is to coordinate and compile something like this - particularly if you aren't experienced with multiple solo maps under your belt.
It almost makes me wonder if I should have a separate rating category for team-built maps... something to ponder for 2013.
The first entry is a nice warm up. I like the invisible mobs that are supposed to appear as you being attacked by snowballs. They definitely get more complex.
Also, it takes 2-3 entries to see how the progression works its way up the tree, and how it will all add up at the end. Much more creative than just giving bland access to all 12 entries from a hallway or something.
As to detail ; the tree itself could use more decoration, and I do recognize that the pixelart is achievable with programs. I would rate that a 3 for size (probably a 2, if I really thought about it). But you'll see me ooh and ah over several smaller details in entries later.
We are actually discussing pushing that deadline back a week just because we stopped giving that the attention it deserves while we worked on our own map.
What to meet us in person? Well come and check out the server we play on called Archaven!

Map 7 airs on December 23rd.
Map 8 begins on December 24th.
Took approx. 30 total hours.
I have 3.5 hours of footage to edit and upload (the last 2 records and the Mastery Cactus).
My plan is to continue Blight Castle, and try to get through the rest of my non-CTM queue by end of January.

At the completion of this playthru, the forced ranking from gravel to emerald will be unearthed!
And there's a fair bit about the map that is extra fun for people who have played our previous maps... out of left field we started having continuity!
