After reviewing 40 maps for my 2013 list (not all ratings are posted yet), I'm not seeing any real 'scaling' difference from 2012. Since this was the only reason for keeping the lists separate, I think I'm going to combine them back into one list. Any concerns?

As of this post, I have combined the 2012 and 2013 lists. There are now ratings for 405 maps listed (and I have ratings for 20 more maps that I haven't posted yet, for a total of 425 maps played and rated)!
Post 1 - My maps, in progress ratings, ratings queue.
Post 2 - Ratings for 253 Adventure maps
Post 3 - Ratings for 152 Non-Adventure maps (CTM, Creation, Parkour, Puzzle, PvP, and Survival)
Post 4 - Explanation of how I rate maps
Ratings that are 'scheduled' to be published along with YouTube videos:
Feb 14 : 13 map ratings from "Hidden Gems 2" series
Feb 15: TBA puzzle map
Feb 16 : TBA adventure map
Feb 20 : Wool World (CTM)
Ratings in progress, not yet scheduled:
From Ashes
TBA CTM map
Journey through 4 books to recover 4 enchanted books. Some very nice visuals. Be prepared for silverfishapocalypse in the FIRST dungeon, but otherwise there are only a few spawners and a lot of dark/random spawns. Gear is scarce, but you are allowed to break/place blocks and craft so that's not really an issue, although I do with there were more arrows. I would call this a miniCTM, because there's no story (which is a shame, since the theme is books).
Progress on Dayralt is going swimmingly - it's nearing end stages, and I have a final goal for certain that I'm shooting for. Not a lot of feedback sadly, but I'm a pretty good self-beta tester and have bugs fairly nailed down. Hopefully I'll have a complete copy (Though it requires the snapshot) for you to try out soon
The Creativity was off the charts. (4/4)
Detail was great for a minigame - love the santa hands. (4/4)
Experience was great (humorous dialogue) (4/4)
Challenge - definitely. Multiple aspects to it. (4/4)
Progression - I like the side portals and the end sequence a lot. But this is the only place I didn't give full marks, because I feel like 32 hits might be a little too high (and I was playing on easy, so I only died by getting knocked off 3x). It makes the fight a bit long, not tedious, but almost, once you get all the things to dodge and keep waiting for arrows to despawn. Might be nice if there was some combination of targets (all 5, or the mouth) where it takes of 2 or 3 health instead of 1. (3/4)
Releasing my rating for "From Ashes" a custom CTM map by the Gustavo Entertainment Team.
I haven't finished playing yet, but I'm pretty confident in this rating.
Total Rating: 18/20
Creativity - 4. A few highlights: Use of custom spawners to simulate poison ground and other effects, use of the URL code, use of beacons to give direction in open-world setting. Use of NPC vendors.
Detail - 4. For a CTM, this is gorgeous. Every zone has a unique feel.
Experience - 4. Extensive lore and overall motivation.
Challenge - 3.
Progression - 3.
CTM-like starting area, took about 2 hours to collect all of the ore and gear up. Then you assault a weird train. Sorta. Certainly a precarious climb. Was a bit hard to see and appreciate the build, even with far render distance. But this is a very short map, in terms of actual story and distance traveled.
If you ever find some extra time, I'd love to see how the updated Gloria stands against the modern rating scale. I'd also love to see if you like it better than the original.
5/20

"Wool World" by Fumbuckle

A great twist on CTM, where the WORLD is made of wool and natural blocks are the monument materials. This is also a small map - perfect for LPs!
