people would still ask even if it was on the first page.
on a side note, pause is streaming infernal sky II 2.0 (updated with some enchanting/brewing stuff and some blazes at least), but it doesn't appear to be up for download here. XD
Yeah I saw that, Vech's handed out some copies to his "closest Friends" I believe :smile.gif: Hell Pause and Vechs are as close as A human and the devil of Minecraftia can be :smile.gif:
'I heard about your cat, so here's one of my maps 'cause the only way I can show love is through pain. *short silence* Peace out, girlscout. *troll.jpg*

Hey SolitaryWolfXD, I didn't mean to did anything sneaky. I just like to insert a lot of links when I type. Bad habit sometimes, side effect of being a scripter for so long.
Thanks, I'll track down stuntdude.

Pretty much all maps made after the Kazio caverns except canopy carnage can be placed decently for 10.0 minecraft.

Can anyone tell me when all the maps were created? I'm thinking of trying them on the same version they were made from
Hi Poopoo, hmmm, dates... Even if you had the original release dates, some of the SH maps have been modified since then. But, I have all of the current releases downloaded and what I've done is pull the last modified date right off the map files themselves. This should be the last date that any change was made to the map itself. Now, as for what version of MC was out at the time, I'll leave that for you to determine. I recommend Cyborg's Tools - MCNostalgia.
Here are the dates as they stand today:
SUPER HOSTILE #00 - HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENT TRAINING
Current version: 1.1
June 27, 2011
SUPER HOSTILE #01 - SEA OF FLAME II
Current version: 1.0
July 25, 2011
SUPER HOSTILE #02 - THE ENDLESS DEEP
Current version: 1.2H
March 25, 2011
SUPER HOSTILE #03 - INFERNAL SKY II
Current version: 1.1
October 10, 2011 (yeah, seemed odd, had to double check this one)
SUPER HOSTILE #04 - THE KAIZŌ CAVERNS
Current version: 1.1H
March 24, 2011
SUPER HOSTILE #05 - THE BLACK DESERT
Current version: 1.0H
April 14, 2011
SUPER HOSTILE #06 - CANOPY CARNAGE
Current version: 1.2H
May 09, 2011
SUPER HOSTILE #07 - LEGENDARY
Current version: 1.2
July 02, 2011
SUPER HOSTILE #08 - NIGHTMARE REALM
Current version: 1.1
October 01, 2011
SUPER HOSTILE #09 - SUNBURN ISLANDS
Current version: 1.1
August 05, 2011
Again, these are not necessarily the original release dates. Each of these maps shows as last being modified on the date listed here.

I just have to say that your texture pack has the retarded Classic-era lava in it.
Other than that, cool video. I must assume you are already very deep into the map. :tongue.gif:
When should we expect the 1.0.0 version of the maps? Will you release them on by one, or wait until you can do it all at once? if you release them one by one, which one are you doing first?
Sorry if you already answered this.
Hey Vechs, I know your busy already with a bazillion different projects, but I came up with two suggestions for new types of super hostile maps when I was driving home from school today, so here ya go :
Super Hostile "mini": I seem to remember you saying the reason race for wool maps only go up to 3 wool because it is difficult to get a multiplayer game together and you wanted it to be completable in one sitting. Well what about doing this for "regular" super hostile maps. They could be speciffically designed for a group of around 4 players, and are therefore balanced to be harder around that fact. But the VM is much smaller (and therefore the enitre map) which would allow the map to be completed much quicker than "regular" super hostile maps.
---------------
Okay so no working title for this one, but it branches of the last idea. Designed for SMP but could be a full sized SH map. This could actually just be a set of optional rules. Altough a map designed speciifically with this in mind would be able to be balanced around the idea. My basic idea would be to make a SH map class based, probably for 2 to 4 players ideally, maybe up to 6. These "classes" would be limited in what gear they could carry and maybe even what blocks they could place. I realize this wouldn't interest everyone, but thought I would throw the idea out there anyway.
well i downloaded sunburn islands and it is amazing! i got 3 wool and metal block (iron) today! i got the white, bown, and lime wool. and working on Deep Trouble were im hanging out with creepers and skelies. i will respond again whenever i go back on. im enjoying it too bad its not updated mainly for 1.0
