Alright it's a hour or so in and I'm so goddamn paranoid on Hills of Moo because I know there is a hidden super-trap somewhere-
wait why are you laughing
D:
Super Hostile maps I've completed: Spellbound Caves (Yeah, I pretty much suck.)
They do the same damage as wood 2 hearts for non crit and 4 for crit hits. Only difference obviously is amount of hits and the ability to procure the materials. Gold would be difficult because it would either have to be given to you which is possible or mined via iron. I said wood because that's much easier to balance for vechs. He doesn't have to be extremely accurate about what he gives you once you get to the point of unlimited wood.
Also about the critical hits since critical hits makes the game easier having iron would make it twice as easy because iron swords can do 7 hearts of damage and have much better durability.
Good point. Also, thanks for clearing tht up for me. Didn't exactly know that. So, you're talking about a map were your "stuck" with wooden supplies for awhile? Then its gonna be a pain finding those ores.
I believe it's called a typo. :tongue.gif:
Yea when I think rom hack hard I think this order:
Scavenge for materials (phase where you die repeatedly with no mercy)
Then you reach wood where you atleast have some control.
Lastly ending with unlimited stone. Which I think would be where vechs normally puts his diamond.
And between all those is random difficult dungeons where you can acquire small amounts of iron or stone depending on how far along you are.
You might hate endermen vechs but they have double the health of skeletons and do .5 more hearts of damage and they teleport.
Making my own CTM now, so much thanks for the toolkit.
You are so awesome Vechs. Can't wait for more maps.
please click.:)
you have to wait for the prerelease that contains all the stuff they threw in in the last second, like notch’s boss monster.
Why does this worry me ? Of course I recognize some of what people have written ( still haven't DLed : ISP is lame-ass extreme )so looking forward to a re-release of my fave...er ...this isn't a remake of Vechs SMP map , is it ???? Damn you ISP ! I have to wait 7 days to DL this and find out . I am RAGE ! Grrraaararrr ! Turning green .... ripping clothes .......Crazy-Hulk smash puny ISP
EDIT ! Poster above me - imagine me tripping this one with two stacks of coal and cobble on board .......repeat my above comment but no smash ISP , smash Vechs map maker .( I was very peeved )
I. Hate. Skeletons!
I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate HATE skeletons!

I will say nice work on the beginning of Nightmare Realm. Thought I had all the traps and then BAM the house goes up in flames. Restart the map and its an easy one to avoid but to get it the first time you would have to have been outside (i dont wanna be there) and looking up.
I just felt like making a vanilla-style map.
*shrugs*
I like making survival-island style maps, as you can see with my first, original, Sea of Flame, and also Ink Blot Island.
Hills of Moo is more like a "Survival Continent" (very large island).
