Okay... using an editor totally defeats the purpose of playing on a challenge map... but it's your single-player game so whatever is fun for you.
It's more for the building aspect, I had fun building the island, and I'm sure i'll have fun playing the map.

No idea how easy or hard the map will be using mods, I can't even imagine all the possible combinations of mods you could have with all the mods that are out there.
I try to balance my maps assuming normal play style on Normal difficulty using vanilla Minecraft. So the maps are "hard" while using Normal Difficulty, and putting the game on Hard Difficulty will make these maps absurdly difficult. :biggrin.gif:
I'm working on my fourth map in the series now, I hope to have it done in a few days.
I will create my one map serie but i don't know if they will be good so when i will have finish can i send them to you ? You will be able to say to me if they are good or not... before i release them to the public

Not 100% sure on release date of the 4th map, I ran into some trouble with Nether Portals... they are not cooperating and doing what I want them to do. Also, occasionally Minecraft crashes for me while using the map, and I don't know if it is the Nether Portals or just because Minecraft is in Beta and still has the odd bug in it.
I think I might delete what I have and start over with a brand new map file. I would never release something if I thought it was unstable in any way.

In case you're curious my elbow surgery went well. I edited this epidode with my left arm numb in a sling. The nerve block they gave me is supposed to wear off while I'm sleeping tonight.

Land of the red Hostile map.
Tons of red stone traps "EVERYWHERE" literally the land is just covered in red stone and you don't know what could activate it.
You also don't know what it could activate. Some are just large dud nets. Some are huge nets of tnt mines.
Others could activate dispensers for whatever reason to include a long range activation of another trap/thing.
*Arrow knocking off a portrait unto a pressure plate is the way for long range activation*
Hehe... one of my dungeons has traps like that, there are many dud pressure plates that do nothing, they are there to just mess with the player, but sometimes live pressure plates are mixed in that really are connected to a trap.
