That seems about right.
Well, assuming Vechs doesn't mind (which I don't see why he would) I'd like to actually make this into a proper game. I know bits and bobs of coding, and I'm sure there are willing people on the MC Forums that can help me with what I can't do myself. It would obviously take a long time to finish, but I think if we get a group of people willing to put a little time into it each week, we could have ourselves a game in like a year or less.
My knowledge of coding is limited bits and bobs too. We make a great team :P.
Also, will the game be mac compatable? I hate it when video games aren't Mac compatable.

Is it going to have multiplayer? If so, could you add RFW?
Welcome, haxorquazar. How long have you been stalking? If it's over a year, you've beaten the record.
I just realized something. NR will be the first map I have beaten without ever using enchantments. And to be honest, the difference is pathetically minimal. I hate cave spiders, so I only got one block of diamond from Balestein. So I have 5 wools left and no enchanting table, nor do I feel the need to get one.
Suprisingly, enchantments don't seem to make that much of a difference.

That's probably because you use them the wrong way. Level 1 enchants make the game 1.5x times easier.
I might be able to help with the design process. (I'm a CS major, but I don't know how much help I would be with coding right now, but I have a python book. I want to be a Software Engineer). I've done okay with creating IPO's so far.
Weakness: "Lava Lover": If there is lava in a dungeon, there is a 60% chance that it will be fallen into.
Me? Where is me?
Did you lose your entire tree supply? That seems like bad luck to me.

I have been reading for over a year without an account... But I have posted somewhere else in the thread, pretty sure it's a silly question (My post not yours, well maybe both).
Haha, I know some of you have done so too, stalkers know stalkers.
How to unlock: Get 5 consecutive deaths due to stupidity (lava, void, or fall damage), you must have at least a full suit of iron and one enchanted (or diamond) gear for a death to count.
Strength: 8
Speed: 4
Arebobics: 5
Skill: 8
Luck: 2
Tunneling: 9
Passive ability: Absent Mind: Every 3 minutes you have a 30% chance to make an incredibly stupid mistake and devestating mistake, chances increased to 50% if near lava or the void.
Active ability: BERSERK RAGE: Active for 3 minutes, 10 minute cool down consumes 2 block of iron or a diamond: Creeper explosions deal 50% less damage, all other sources of damage are reduced by 25% luck and strength are increased to 15, speed, tunnel rat and acrobatics are reduced to 3.A little late to the party, for uh... reasons... I had to stop lurking for a while.

Most of the worlds problems are due to stupidity or ignorance.
You stopped lurking? Tsk, tsk you have yet to become a master stalker, young one.

And how, praytell, does one use enchantments the wrong way? I stick level 1's on my armor/weapons early on. Later in the game, I often use level 30 enchants on all my gear. I even enchant picks so that I can get more diamonds per diamond ore given. (Fortune III...wheee!)
Enchantments may make the game easier, but they are most certaintly not necessary at all. Particularly if I can beat NR without them. Enchanting is overrated. It's brewing that is OP.
Restart. All you have to do is run through Lonely Lava Cavern, and then back through Starlight. There is wood farther on in the map, scattered here and there, but yeah...you may just want to restart.
