O.O oh god no. So, i decided to play Spellbound caves again because the first time i played it (as my first CTM map) i went into peaceful for one second to despawn mobs at the end. Im doing it legit this time.. ANYWAYS, i died to 4 skeletons shooting at me at once, and when i went and picked up my zistonian batlesign it had lost its enchantment and turned into a normal sign. Im not sure exactly why that happened, but i hope it was just a one time thing and wont happen on on other maps. *restarts map*

The very beginning of SC is a NIGHTMARE. But hold in there! There's more than enough to keep you going later on.

CTM maps beaten: Sea of Flame II, Infernal Sky II, Kaizo Caverns, Black Desert, Legendary, Nightmare Realm, Sunburn Islands, Spellbound Caves, Lethamyr, Waking Up
Actually, the start of SC isn't that bad.
Assuming you're doing the first dungeon..
You have to do the first room, grab the resto potion and chestplate, use the resto potion to go down and grab the iron sword, and then you can dig down from the sides of the potion chest straight into the wool room and grab the wool, then get out.
Got something weird and wanna ask if its normal, but it may contain spoiler:
Ok, so we are playing Wake up me and one of my friend, we having hard time in inventory wipe but then i succeed to reach the rail in the nether part and at the end there was another nether portal, i enter it and now im in a normal minecraft world ! is that supposed to happen ???
I really want to play inferno mines, i already tried sunburn islands but there is a part in that map where yoou go down to 1fps.
does anybody know what the problem is in sunburn islands and does anybody know when exactly inferno mines comes out?
I'm assuming you're talking about the border to Sunburn Islands. The map is ringed by a wall of lapis lazuli blocks that seem to cause titanic amounts of lag. You can actually go to every dungeon without encountering the border lag, just be careful not to go too far out.
Inferno Mines is Coming SoonTM
Just starting out on this wonderful series - I just want one clarification, please do not get offended if the answer lies elsewhere in the thread, I did try searching for it.
Would all the maps work with 1.3.2? I want to start with spellbound caves, so I wanted to know if the version I use would be ok to use with the map?
I cant get to some dungeons without dropping down to under 5 fps.
Try using short/tiny render distance, or using Optifine to load only visible chunks. I was able to get to both dungeons without a problem. If all else fails, you could go in with MCEdit and remove the lapis walls.
When I install the 'A' version you don't respawn if you die. I have checked the server.properties and the difficulty is on 2 (for normal) and the hardcore property is set to false, but yet we are still in hardcore mode when we die. We have swapped to the 'E' version but this is nothing like the 'A' map and has every resource you could possibly need all within 50 blocks of starting, not to mention the first wool being given to you without any challenge.
Is there no 'normal' play option like Sea of Flame and Legendary etc? Obviously there is no point us playing on hardcore mode because if one of us dies then we may as well both die as the other person can't rejoin so pointless continuing.
Am I missing something or.. .?
What you're dealing with is the glitchy new 1.3.1 hardcore multiplayer mode. It will ban a player if they die on a hardcore server. Because the map was set to hardcore, it will be on hardcore, even if the server is not set to that. You would have to ask a more computer-savvy person, but I think you could use NBTedit to solve this problem...maybe. Another, simpler option is to make a new back-up of the world every time you get a wool. Then, when you die, delete the server's world, and re-place it with the saved world file. You'll come back at the save-point, and won't lose all your progress.
You guys know a cool youtube channel similair to Vechs and Sethbling, by any chance?
EthosLab is a great minecraft channel, he plays some CTM, does an LP that will teach you a lot about the game, and he knows how to use minecraft's mechanics for really cool and often useful builds.
I died with all my enchanted gear and the Rosian Battlegear while afk'ing at my XP grinder do to a glitch. I managed to sort of recover, but is there any other hacked enchanted items in the map? I've lost papercut, the battlesign from trees of fun, and the rose now...
WE ALL BURN VECHZ. RLLY. U WENT SPAWNER CRAZY ON THAT ONE.
Bruce for distant-lighting
Lava for close combat
Knockback sword for fighting
Golden pick (possibly with Efficiency) to break spawners
When more zombies spawn then you can kill, run away, let them despawn.
Area done
This area is horrible (in the good way)... seriously, if you were trying to make the player paranoid, scared, frustrated, angry.... then you have succeeded. One thing here is that if you fail once then you will be punished for it horribly: One sand collapse lets a load more creepers spawn, if you get unlucky and have skeletons spawn too then another collapse is bound to happen the second you clear the first one.
/ragequit the third
Oh, how we all love your ragequits. And your bad enchantment luck. We love that, too.
He could have at least made the ceiling of something halfway blast-resistant.
That would remove his thought of "fun"...
No seriously, while Waking up is an awesome map, Hissing sand is just... too much. It happened to me that sand fell at a intersection, and when I was trough another creeper blew up and killed me. I didn't find that place again, and when I finally found it I had forgotten that there were paths to left and right. So I searched everything, with no progressother than finding the boots and the book. So if I were to complete the map without cheating (what i did) [actually I didn't complete it, I raged again at IWHF, and that ragequit ended in me pressing the delete world button without thinking about it. A few hour later I realized that my save file was completely gone, as the world didn't get put into the paper bin...]
Were doomed, any mob cna go into a portal like us now and minecarts, the end is near now...

All maps will work with 1.3.2, except for Canopy Carnage and Black Desert, which were never updated. Have fun in Spellbound, it's a great map!

I saw it instantly.
Turn to your right just as you enter the intersection, coming from Helix Cavern. The gravel is behind the cobwebs to your right.
I need to know, is there another hacked enchanted item in Waking Up besides the Rosian Battlrgear and the papercut/battlesign from the start?

No, something with infinite durability like the battlesign.
