Assuming this is a collab map project, you've listed 40 people as 1/4 of your team. So your team has 160 people? Are you sure that's manageable?

Is there any chance of getting mini dungeons in a map? I mean dungeons providing special loot the player wouldnt have access to otherwise? I say that because in the last maps it kind of layed around on the way to some wool. So the player passes by some chest saying "Ohh nice, Iron sword, I take it!" but he doesnt really work for it because he needs to go this way inyway. To have some small caves with loot would make the loot more interesting and more valuable to the player. Also the player should know that there is loot waiting for him and that it is optional. Because of the optionality, the traps can be much harder and very unfair.

With loot I mean something that makes the live of the player less tedious. Like a special axe to make tree farming less annoying, a huge stack of blocks to build your base with so you dont have to mine it, a battlesign, access to a furnace or a bucket or a huge pile of bred so the player dont have to farm for quite some time or eat zombie flesh... Because lets face it.. these activities are nice at the beginning of minecraft, but they are booring after you have done them so many often.
