Sushiminecraft, what's your tactic to getting pigs into the minecarts? Mine is to put a 1 wide hole in the rock, put rails through it, then have a 1 tall hole for an exit, the minecarts get in and out but the piggy's can't

Sushi, I've gotten to see some images of Hostile trails so far, and theres one area that's terrifying.
It's a huge desert filled with a lava ocean and little islands(and some diamond ore) and it's completely darkened up top, it's not a glass roof like at start it's bedrock I think, and there are tons of mobs. I plan on using water to go across the lava instead of fighting mobs...

For the journal thing, which map would you do for it?
Also if you plan on going across land I've seen a video with a little tip for the lava desert, bring lot's of torches, and save those speed potions.

I have an idea for instant stations, carry red mushrooms and bones* with you.
*Bones not bonemeal, you can carry more bones which means more bonemeal.
