Apparently it's okay to post images of CTM-related work? Because I just finished my second dungeon, and I was wondering if I could get an opinion.
This is dungeon II, The Quarry. It's creepertastic.
This is the view from above:
And here is a view somewhat lower in. There's a significan portion you can't see behind me,
I know the houses look plain from here, but they're decorated inside. I just avoided windows to prevent light spread. The idea of the dungeon is exploring the area, while creepers pour from the shadows. There's more to it than that, but I'll keep it secret.
Tell me if I need to take these images down, I don't want to get in trouble.

You won't get in trouble, Vechs doesn't seem to mind, also, You used fences to make a rope? Smart...

My main criticisms is that the area around the quarry seems rather plain and the screenshots aren't in the default texture pack. Since most people play with the default texture pack, or at least more than any other texture pack, screenshots in that are the best. Also, they tell us more about the map. Also, you forgot to put a layer of sandstone under the sand.
Actually, having -20 fps would be time going backwards. Just saying.

Thank you both for a quick response!
There IS fence-rope, but it's hard to see, it's off to the right, attatched to the crane.
If you get in close, the central "rope" is actually the shaft of a big obsidian-headed drill.
I know the area around it is plain, It's currently in a flat map. I'm still figureing this all out, so for now I just save them as schematics and I'll import them when I'm ready to landscape. Not a great idea, I know, but I'm still figuring out how big my map should be...
8 dungeons, with fair space between them. I'm not sure.
Texture pack: Noted.
Edit: Me stupid. The crane isn't hard to see at all. Point still stands, though.
Hey vechs. I have an idea. You mentioned you can spawn monster stacks, right? So what about a ghast riding blaze?
Correction: Ghast riding blazes. No blaze. Blazes. Multiple ones.
I agree. I have no idea why, but posting LP's and saying "oh, if you like this you will love mine come check it out" somehow has a different feel to it. It seems...
Almost arrogant.
Edit: and lazy. lazy to actually embed their videos.
I agree that it seems different, it seems more like advertising if you say how ou should check this out.
But yea, gonna drop it.
You watch the Yogscast? HA HA HA! HA HA! HA! *cough cough* HA!
Hey, the Yogscast are just fine when they're in their element. Plus they're currently playing (and playing well) a map that I and many others have been working horribly hard on for months and months!

I respect that they are playing your map, but I don't prefer the Yogscast as a 'Go To LP-ers' channel. I don't have a problem with swearing, but if is used too much, I do have a problem with that. Plus they cheat on maps. They are still funny and all.... But the charm has worn off for me.

Oh, you guys released your super secret team project CTM map? Y U NO POST THREAD LINK!?
Update: I've finished the 3rd layer of the wall and I've decided to put my victory monument in this castle! What do you guys think?
Might I suggest either placing all the castle's blocks with their mossy variant or replacing the surrounding stone walls with sandstone? Currently, the contrast between the castle and its surroundings is too low.
NOTE: This isn't necessarily for the final release, just for the screen shots you give us. Heck, you could just make a texture pack where stone has the texture of sandstone for these screen shots.
I wish...
I'm playing that map at this time and I've just started, so I second your question.
I ask because I'm currently farming sugarcane to make maps and also farming trees to make the system for the rails..... though those maps don't help once you reach the darkness...

Oh I see.
I'd still like to know though. I'm that stubborn
Vechs? Last time I checked your name was Evil wasn't it? Or maybe that was- no it was you. That or Troll, one of those two for sure.
I mean after an amount of time... not automatically.

You just lost the game.
What did that achieve?
Where in this castle, I mean is there enough room, how many wools are you doing?
All. All of the wools. And diamond, iron, gold, and lapis blocks.
Is castle big enough to allow that many? Is it really?
Thank you both for a quick response!

A fail at getting first post on the page, so I could say something and people would notice... then I forgot what I wanted to post...

I'd also like to know because I really don't want to be unprepared for that walk...
Also, is there any gold near the beginning? I can't find any!?!?!?!
I don't think so. I've only found (in terms of minerals) coal.
