I'm thinking of doing a little journal/story thing for the Hostile Trails map, like what Whiteblade is doing for Lethamyr, what I'd like to know is, would anyone be interested in reading it?

I have a question regarding creepers... Is their death coded into the game upon explosion, or do they actually die BECAUSE of the explosion? What I mean is, when they explode, are they removed directly, or do they actually take damage and die that way?
Because if it were the latter, it would make sense that a creeper with, say, 500 health could explode many times before it died.
Or, say, a charged creeper with 1,000 health...

I'm fairly certain they're removed. If they died OF the explosion, they'd drop gunpowder, and you'd see them fall over (Which they do when killed by other explosions.)

Their death is coded, sadly. I tried this inadvertently when testing powered creeper spawners, they also had 1000 health and they still die upon the 'splosion. Don't worry though, I'm sure Dinnerbone will see this and fix it for you .
I sincerely hope so! Chain Reaction Creepers would be fantastic, I sent him a tweet about it. Beyond that there is little else I can do, though.
Not sure how many saw it but Sethbling put out a video with some new MCEdit filters for mob spawners and potion effect on the spawned mobs. That bad things Vechs will be doing to us.
