Every bloody CTM map series boasts that it's bigger, longer, and harder than other CTM series. It's almost as if it's a **** measuring contest. (bigger, longer, harder...)
So I took on board the advice about intersections. How did I do?
THAT looks amazing! Now i really want to play your map. The only thing i would change that is not even viseble is make al the cobble into silverfish blocks.

I beat two super hostile maps, see of flame 2 and spellbound, have to finish more. Plan to do inferno mines for lulz and win when it goes out. Have fun!
I think what you (Spyro) are looking for is a good parkour challenge map, or a puzzle-type thing. I've seen some good ones out there, but I think Vechs prefers killing us the old fashioned way.
With creepers.
Creepers are old fasioned.
Charged Creepers, on the other hand, are not old fashioned.
I would try to make a map, I was making one till around the new anvil format showed up, and now I can't get MCedit to work... My computer loves me so much

Actually this is exactly what my little brother does (he's seven). He really likes Super Hostile but he can't handle the mobs so he just turns them off. Its boring to watch but he still has fun just exploring the environments.
Not sure how many saw it but Sethbling put out a video with some new MCEdit filters for mob spawners and potion effect on the spawned mobs. That bad things Vechs will be doing to us.

I'll be honest: Sunburn Islands is the only Super Hostile I've managed to complete (I had friends on). I'm such a lightweight.
Just by the look of it, it doesn't look like a Sunburn Islands (henceforth SI) knockoff. It seems different in both style and substance.
To clarify, what are we seeing here? Just a few random islands? Or are those dungeons? Because they seem awfully small if they are. If it's just varied islands of no real importance, it's fine.
I'm actually just starting up on a CTM myself- I'm doing a series of shoerter (8 dungeon) maps with comparable difficulty to Vech's stuff. So, fellow newbie, I suppose we can give each other opinions.

If Vechs appplies these new spawner tricks to the maps its going to become extremely hard BUT at the same time alot more interesting, Now we will have to develop new strategies for the new buffed mobs.... CANT WAIT.
@Vechs, what map are you working on at the moment? Fallen Kingdoms?
My strategy will be to play on peaceful during those boss fights...
Edit: Or I might tunnel rat... I hope to god we don't get a monster capable of moving through rock and dirt like a worm any time soon.

Also, I freaked when I saw that intersection pic two pages back. It looks uncannily like the drilling platform in Dungeon II of the map I'm working on. Well, sorta. I didn't steal the idea, I swear! -begins panicking-
