This is truley the best costom map series ive ever seen!
I always play with a specific setup on my hotbar:
Pickaxe, Sword, Bow, Battlesign, Building Block, Misc Slot, Healing Item, Food, Light Source. If I'm lacking anything I'll use the other empty spaces like misc spaces. Pretty much geared toward the inevitability of my panic attacks and having to go into my inventory as little as possible.
I spend most of this episode scared out of my pants:
It's been a while since I last died... Could it be I'm really improving?
Also, and completely unrelated, I would like to invite anyone interested for a Join.Me session I'm holding at the moment. It's just like a stream from LiveStream or TwitchTV, except there are no ads and the link lasts only as long as the session is up.
Here's the link for joining the room: https://join.me/858-189-010
I'm working on a picture for a summer contest, it's nothing related to Minecraft and I apologise for that, but it's possible to talk to me and to other participants while I'm drawing.
I'm feeling very sociable today so I thought I could share this here to have some company. ;u;/
I use the default controls, but my inventory is set to B (because that's what I got used to after playing "Classic" back in Alpha). I use the scroll wheel because I'm always worried that I'll hit the wrong number and accidentally, oh I don't know, cover myself in lava while trying to eat DA MUSHROOM SOUP, DAMMIT! Also, my hotbar is usually set up in this order: Lighting, pick, sword, shovel, bow, blocks, food, anything else (potions, etc.) This setup works for me because lighting is usually my first priority. Yeah. Indeed.

I do: Sword, light source, pick, block, food, shovel, misc(usually potion), misc(usually potion), bow. I usually run around with the sword out, easy switching to a light when I need to, or a bow when I need to. I rarely use the scroll wheel(too GLITCHY), I just use the 1-9 keys.
CTM maps beaten: Sea of Flame II, Infernal Sky II, Kaizo Caverns, Black Desert, Legendary, Nightmare Realm, Sunburn Islands, Spellbound Caves, Lethamyr, Waking Up
It's the next Super Hostile map. See Vechs's Youtube page.
You just lost the game.
I meant in general
you make us lol so much. You deserve it
2,3, & 4 for me
1. find/complete the Victory Monument. (instead of all the wools, theres only going to be, say, 6-8 to find, and MAYBE the Ore Blocks, i haven't decided yet)
2. dont leave the map boundries. (duh)
3. survive in any way you can think of.
4. you can't destroy spawners.
please reply soon, im going to start experimenting with map ideas after i post this.

Managed to get my wheat farm, melon farm, and pumpkin farms dug out and planted as best as I can, so I decided to start working on my animal pens and herding animals into them. My plan was 1 building for wolves, 1 for cows, 1 for chickens, 1 for pigs.
I didn't encounter any issues until I started trying to herd pigs into their building. Mother of god.
To start with, I knew there were a number of pigs nearby (unlike the cows, which I had to scour the forest to find), so I went out and gathered them all (4 in total). Then came trying to herd them across my bridge (all four buildings are built into the lake, so I extended the existing bridge out to them.
Almost immediately, they were going underneath the bridge, and almost drowning. Cursing most of the time, I managed to get one of them inside of their building...
... Only to hear two of them start drowning and die. Now I'm down to two.
After building steps up so the last one could get onto the bridge without derp jumping and going under it (even then, it took a few tries because it kept hopping off the step and going under the bridge for some ungodly reason), I managed to get the last one inside. Then I tried breeding them so I can start building up the numbers a bit.
Cue having the piglet spawn inside of the wall and suffocate. I must have the unluckiest farm animals in existance, because suffocation deaths seem to happen a hell of a lot to me >.>
On the bright side, I used the raw pork from the drowned pigs to breed my two wolves, so I'm up to three of those. Now I just need to build the rest of the pig and chicken buildings (in other words, walls and a roof to go over the ring that forms the pit they're trapped in), and I'm done with that.
Fake Edit: 2nd attempt at breeding the pigs was successful, thankfully. Up to three pigs, for now. Now to lava bucket some cows for food...
I use Bow, Sword, Torch, Pick, Shovel/misc, Misc/food, Lava Bucket/misc, Water Bucket/misc, gravel/sand, solid block.
I change the misc slots depending on what i am doing, whether building or fighting or mining.
My misc slots are normally enderpearls, potions, more blocks or... well anything really.
I have it this way because i want my weapons the easiest to get to in case, then i have it to where i can switch from my pick to my sword easy and switch to sword or pick to torch easy (for caving/fighting or mining). blocks are easy to get to from sword and fairly easy to get to from pick.
Most of the worlds problems are due to stupidity or ignorance.

I want to test this so badly :S
It's been a while since I had such a great time. XD
Next time I'll draw something Minecraft related too, so more people would like to join. :3
Why, we got something constructive done, didn't we?
Except the pony. That was terrifying.
Vechs is taunting me. But I will kill all those bruces to get my lovely potions.
I love to play it and I think you should keep up the amazing work!
Hey Hybran, someone stole your avatar!
You just lost the game.
Of course, it could have done with more sparkles. You can never have enough sparkles.
Congratulations.
