Playing Spellbound Caves, I just finished Rumbling Cavern and I found intersection 3. I don't know which should be my first area to explore, is there anything interesting excepting wool on Rattlebone Crypts? (I'm not gonna enter Black Heart Citadel until I finish the other two, I'm sure it's the last area)Pink: Rumbling CavernCyan: The Nether, the portal is on University of mother****ing blazes. There are two, one really obvious and another really hidden. The way to the intersection is not on that area.
Thank you for the locations. In some of the crypts there is some minor loot and others there are good enchanted items. Have you found the wool there yet?
Finally found the pink wool, I was searching the wrong side the whole time :/
But I'm done with Spellbound Caves!
A question for you guys, where did you make your house in Spellbound Caves? Mine was dug into the side of the hall next to the Victory Monument, and my farm across the hall. I had rail way systems going to the intersections too.
Vechs, I will forever respect you for what you did in the Blackened Library. You are my hero, even though you kill me all the time and keep sending those Blazemen at me.

I set up some houses on Infernal Sky II but I never built much in Spellbound Caves, I didn't even use much of the rail either because it was too time consuming. I would probably go through the effort to do something like that in the Nightmare Realm and Legendary but no other map I did. My version of a house just consisted of a bed infront of the Victory monument in Spellbound Caves.
Question. I'm currently trying to make a CTM map, and I'm generating the flatland. However, I was wondering how big I should make the land. I did 3000x3000 to start. Too big? Too small? The idea for the map is an abandoned city with skyscrapers and such. It should be good, but how big do you think I should make it?
3000by 3000 blocks or chunks if blocks than that is reasonable though I personally go with 100 by 100 chunk starter area. If you meant chunks then no that is WAY to big at 9,000,000 chunks. good luck on the map as city themes are difficult. I would suggest making a standard size for building's bases ex. 30 by 30 then making about 10 to 20 buildings with that base size. Then make a lot of roads and add rivers and bridges if you want them. then copy paste a lot of buildings onto the spots along the road where you left room when you made the roads. Then the fun part after all the buildings are in place set up some TNT and make it abandoned (make a world back up first).

I don't think you heard him correctly. He's making a CTM map, not a city map.
Can someone tell me where the underwater wool is in the Grove of the Dark Willows (Spellbound Caves)? I looked everywhere in the pool there, but couldn't find it.

It's more overwater... Look at the waterfall. I found it immediately :tongue.gif:

I built a base at Intersection 2 (right in the middle of things). It has a cactus farm, wheat farm, chicken farm, melon farm, potion room, enchanting room, storage room and more. Also, I totally renovated Intersection 2 and made it look good.
Why? Because I was putting off and totally avoiding going back to that darn University of darn Blazes. I cannot tell you how many times I got killed in there.

How did you make a chicken farm, and where did you get melon seeds? I hate blazes too, but what I did was build a little room with a bed and chest for the places I got stuck at.

Swim up the little water fall near the entrance and get the diving helmet. Then swim up the water near the chest to find the wool.

ok I just played sunburn islands for the second time, very fun. 0 deaths, though with enchanted diamond armor thats not saying much.
Basically I rushed the diamonds and got the best armor ever in the beginning after that it was just a dungeon clean up closest I came to dying was when I fell in lava and couldn't get out for a couple seconds and burned to half health.
Personally I think sunburn Islands is my favorite map even if it is easy
Could I have some help with Dismal Deep Darkness? I want co-ords or something that will help me get to the final part.

Yes, a little hint: You will need that water breathing helmet :smile.gif:

My first video of 2012 is a Vechs map. :ohmy.gif:
I didn't understand why its called Rumbling cavern until later while I was rendering, lol.

Don't get me wrong. They're disgustingly hard (read, fun).

After reading this I went back and checked, and found a wool I missed. Wow. I dug up the entire lake first. I hate you, Vechs.

I am talking about the portal from the university.
Wait till the university.
Finished that place just now, what do you mean? The wool was fairly easy to find. Plenty of mobs however.
