Hey look buddy, I'm a builder. That means I build custom maps. Not maps like "Escapecraft 3", because that would fall within the purview of your idea of most puzzle maps. I build adventure maps. For instance, how am I going to allow some big old forum user to enjoy adventure to the fullest? The answer? Use a pyramid. And if that don't work, use more pyramid. Like this big, old, dusty pyramid designed by me. Built by me. And you'd best hope... being played by you.
The farm is behind the house and my tree farm of one tree is on top of my home.

Secondly: Welcome to the forums; expect creepy people, trolls, and people that whine about updates. In other words: Welcome to a place of pain and suffering. xD

Yeah there will be a part 2 but we might actually do like three 10 minute parts for now, I don't mind doing 20 minute ones but i think 10 minutes will be better for my subscribers. I'll have one up soon
When i open up Minecraft and launch World3 (I renamed the file to it) i get this crash.
I get it with a lot of maps that i download from the forums, and i'm getting very frustrated about this, i think i get the same crash everytime.
Minecraft has crashed!

I was a bit disappointed with there being no grass blocks. I really wanted an area where I could collect wool and leather and ham to try and conquer the pyramid. Perhaps you could make it so a few grass blocks are in a chest somewhere in the pyramid and maybe a bucket of water so we can make an actual farm :tongue.gif: But other than that a diamond for you!

There are grass blocks on the ground at spawn. Have them spread to others. And bucket of water is in the chest at spawn

I must have broken them then urgh and I meant having two buckets of water for an infinite spring also I was a little disappointed with the final chest room. I like that you included the trap at the end which I fell for but thankfully did not die. But you had a lot of things that were very impractical in there for people who wanted to play the game more afterwards. I feel also that the chests were dangerously empty. In a world where there is basically just sand I feel that the treasures would include: a double chest filled with coal, a double chest filled with cobble, a double chest filled with iron blocks (for buckets, flint and steel and what not) A double chest filled with some other things such as sugar cane, mushrooms, brick, some mossy cobblestone,a double chest filled with smooth stone, and a double chest filled with a large assortment of dyes and wool, a double chest maybe filled with some food as well like cake, and lots of eggs and maybe a double chest with pumpkins and the other two types of wood. Plus then then nether perhaps could have a few easter eggs in it :ohmy.gif: Also I found parts with lava rather easy. Considering I just used my bucket of water and changed it all to obsidian and then walked across. The most ingenious trap I came across was the zombie spawner/ falling floor trap. I finally got to the spawner and I started breaking it but I thought wait a second this could have a collapsible floor and I jumped and placed a block of sandstone beneath me and sure enough it did have a collapsible floor. Good job! I only died once :biggrin.gif: And I explored every room and I got every single treasure except 1 gold block. :biggrin.gif: Anyway sorry for all the suggestions. I just am a bit disappointed and stumped what to do with this place now since I basically just have a limitless supply of gold diamond and sand but no other good building materials.

If I have that many material in the chests, it would be waaaay too easy. In the first version, there were many things in chests and I got complains that its too easy, so I made it how it is now. Also, its not meant to be your main world, much like other custom maps. You are thinking that once completed you can use it as your main room. But thats not how its supposed to be sorry. You goal is to raid the pyramid and survive, not to set up a whole town. Im sorry you feel this way

I understand that. But I was specifically only talking about the final chest room. And I understand it isn't supposed to be my main world. It's just that I felt I could build more ruins and other things around the place with more tools. Oh well.
i got 2304. and BTW, the top guy's score is impossible. Even with a full inventory of diamond blocks (like me) it is impossible.
What if you take down all the gold walls in the final room, I think that brings you up really high like for me
