Size: maybe 20*20 chunks
Land Height: 63
Material: i know, it's very hard, maybe impossible, but i want grass map with ocean and resourses
Reason: i need map 4 building my biiig city.
1 more question:
how tuo build tunneels on TNT map? :biggrin.gif:
Hm, i would like to request a.... odd, styled map, mainly one for building a very large city, but also one not just for building... so i came up with this map set-up, the Functional builders map-ish thingy...
Size: Not really important, but 1024 sounds okay.
Land Height: 48 (Including Berdrock)
Material: Here is where it gets... "Odd"
First 4 layers on top - Grass
The 10TH - 14TH layer from top is pure coal
Then Stone all the way to the 16TH layer from the bottom
Then 5 Layers of Iron, then 2 layers of gold, then 1 layer of redstone, then 2 layers of diamond, then 3 layers of obsidian (All ores, except obsidian...)
Then the bottom three layers is pure Adminium.
Reason: For a building map that also serves a more functional purpose, Because all ores are there, flat top for building, and no obstructions during making the Town Mine, and stuff like that, only flat map, flat layers of ores, and alot of room to form and expand.
The Grassland map has trees and snow and pumpkins near the edge. SO much fun to run across when player speed is sped up to a couple hundred. Lags a lot though. And you can jump over the wall.
How come i when i load up the map, it takes 10 min. to 'build terrain' ?
when i can load up a normal map in 10 sec.
also when i die and try to respawn it freezes
can anyone answer my question?
1. Sorry I haven't been on recently
2. Which map?
3.Computer specs?
4.building terrain is getting the base render in so you don't look your floating in mid air for a while
and im playing on the stone map (4 layers above bedrock)
I'm fairly sure these maps are very large files, and seeing as your hard drive and CPU aren't the fastest, it looks like it's taking your computer awhile to process the large maps. and from what i've read, the low level flatworlds have a lot of lag. This is probably why that is happening.

1. Some times some blocks take a while to light on fire. I think. Idk.
