I would recommend that you say "These maps aren't available yet" instead of "[url]Download[/url]" When you're not done with a map, because people obviously don't get it.

I downloaded middlelands stone map and when I got to the wall, more land was being generated beyond it, aswell as animals and such. What can I do to avoid that from happening?
The only way you can avoind land generation is a client mod :/

also on a happier note i am going to work on a java flatmap generator where you can do the following:
Width (Specified in 16x16 block chunks)
Length (Specified in 16x16 block chunks)
Land Height (Specified as blocks above bedrock)
Main Soil Type (The whole height is filled with this)
Secondary Soil Type (The second soil type)
Secondary Soil Depth (The depth of the soil from the land height)
Map Name
Folder Name
There is an odd glitch that I keep getting. When I was in the middle of building a castle when I had to go to bed. When I want back on the next day, the I was holding became limited. Any reason for this happening?

Thanks, If i run into the memory problem i'll generate the 1024x1024 land then stich them together.
Also i think bedrock will be have options like:
Bedrock y/n
Bedrock thickness
Bedrock type
the generator will only happen when i get time after i update the maps and the mod and the mod i am working on.

That's a glitch in the game itself that happens because
item stacks memory type is byte (I believe) and that means that you can only have a total of 64 items.
when you set it higher you are "Overloading" the memory type but minecraft is told not to raise an error and instead makes an inf stack but when you save and load, sleep, die etc. it will reset to one on occasion.

2) Can I use one of these maps for an adventure map of mine? I'd rather ask you first, since you're the creator of these maps, than just go ahead and do it. Much politer (is that a word?) that way.
