Oh god.. I was in the "remove brain" part with all the creepers, and they blew up the glass and escaped.. Eventually they blew up the floor, I fell through, and was forced to kill myself..
I was so sad.
EDIT: Okay, had 3 playthroughs this time.. First I killed Subject 1089, and thought I wasn't supposed to, so I used my remaining dirt to climb out, still had my flint and stone, but figured it was the pig, and was sort of right... So on the second playthrough I just thought the ending was just "hey, it loops! :D", and was disappointed. Then I saw a post about keeping the flint n' stone, and went back another time.. This time found the real ending, and now I'm happy. :tongue.gif:
Also, same as the first EscapeCraft, you can take the lever (or button, as in EC1) you craft at the beginning, and use it throughout the level, bypassing most of the puzzles, and without breaking any rules.. Just a door glitch. :/
Logged on the forums just to comment on this. Haha, I don't usually log on. Just completed this spoiler free and it was really clever, enjoyed it! Getting EscapeCraft 3 now :DDD

Proof that you don't always get things in return: My friend gets stuck on the first room, the redstone room, and the number room of escape craft 1, I help him beat it. I ask to him to help me with Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Him "Um... I dunno >_>" Me " "
On the elevator shaft room with the fence pieces to block the water, I was given redstone and sticks so i made a redstone torch, stood right next to the door, placed it down and walked through. Apparently I did it wrong. :biggrin.gif:

It's hard to overstate my satisfaction. :biggrin.gif:
This is EscapeCraft.
We do what we must, because we can.
This is an amazingly complex and suprisingly long 'campaign'. I love the Portal-esque theme, and the shot at GlaDOS. Lovely cake by the way. Perhaps future versions might involve some sort of boss fight? I haven't played 3 yet. You're an amazing uhm... artist... deleloper? Whatever it is, you're great at it! I look forward to all future EscapeCrafts!
Until you run out of cake of course :wink.gif:
Addition: The double ending is AMAZINGLY BRILLIANT!
Hey, it's Techrocket9 here (winner of the EscapeCraft 2 design contest; see here).
Since it seems that Merlinus12 is not active at present I have decided to become the unofficial EscapeCraft 2 maintainer. This means that I will be doing my best to keep EscapeCraft 2 compatible with new versions of Minecraft as they come out.
As evidence of my commitment I have recently finished upgrading EscapeCraft 2 for compatibility with Minecraft 1.6 Beta and integrated the result of the EscapeCraft 2 design contest. You can download this new compatible version link removed. Get newer version below.
New overhaul of the map! Download here! Be sure to go to File>Download to get the whole zip and not just a part of it.
Enjoy!
P.S. I am using this temp account instead of Techrocket9 because I have been unable to access my normal account since the form update

Room 3 is no longer compatible because fire spread has been nerfed BIG TIME. Maybe a new puzzle in this room?
(or did you fix that in the new file, I haven't checked)
