Ok. Heres a list of (I think) all of the reskinned blocks
redstone->Wood
iron ore->Bloody stone
gold ore->Bloody cobble
lightstone->fluorescent lights
and banned blocks are
-logs
-planks
-saplings
-wood steps
-workbenches
Hey wait, that means the wood will glow/give off red dust when the player punches it. Awesome!
Also, I think that there should be a building made of fake wood, with ONE real plank in the middle. And/or there should be a single plank on the entire map. It should be easy to find, but should be the only one there.
I might have said this before. Busy life = forgetfulness.
Any capability to craft is being completely removed from the game, beyond torches? It sort of makes sense to me that a garage may have an occasional workbench inside of it. Maybe not every single one, but If we're going to have sticks of any sort, it might sort of be nice to be able to craft. Or maybe just a single workbench at the spawn?

It's not crafting necessarily being removed, it's wood. Wooden picks let you break up stone, which lets you dismantle obstacles, redstone puzzles and just about everything. Stone picks then let you mine the huge iron and diamond reserves used for decoration. So that I think is why theres no wood, I'm not sure about if there will be crafting benches to allow for making of say a fishing rod or bow or more likely they will just be found in chests.
Im leaning toward chests, as Im planning on having the player be able to find some sticks for torches and such. Which they can use for picks...unless I remove the cobblestone I was thinking of putting into chests (to allow for limited building.)
I think Im going to have some crafting benches around, just no wood, stone, iron, etc. Not alot can be crafted without basic blocks, so idk what use the benches will be.
This seems rather interesting to me, and i wouldy gladly test everything out and would gladly play this 50+ times....
The most interesting thing for me is finding the :chestfront:s. and finding out what is in them! The only problem i have with this is two things, one... wouldent it be easy for people to cheat? two... Will this be easy to obtain or no?
Such as.
-PAY TO PLAY?
-Complicated procceses of adding it to your minecraft folder like using many programs?
-Having to completely redo things i don't want to?
I look very much so forward to seeing this, and screenshots of this.
Well, seeing as it's easy for people to cheat anyways, I think we're sort of ignoring that aspect, and going more on a "If you want to, go ahead, but if you want the full experience, just play the game" thing. Which has created that whole community that go into shock if they see the word(s?) 'InvEdit'. But hopefully, most people will play through the game normally, just for fun, rather than ruin the whole thing by hacking somehow and doing... whatever they plan to do. I guess the whole purpose of the game is to escape the city, and if you cheat and do it in thirty seconds that sort of ruins it.
No list, not looking for testers yet. Stop applying dammit!
Well then take it out of the OP. :tongue.gif:
I shouldnt need to, that list is up for mostly my own refernce anyways.
As said in the OP, anything RED hasnt been started yet. Find beta testers is in red, so anyone reading the thread should should see that I havent started finding beta testers yet...

People don't read. They just look at words and make their own conclusions. Don't give them the words they want to see, no matter the context.

Also known as reading...
No, reading involves looking at all of the words, in order, and in the way they were presented.
