I agree with what other people have been saying. Also, I am pretty sure the map is out to get me, I wanted to go north, and iirc, clouds always go north, I followed the clouds, and ended up back at the cart-transfer place which I swear was east of me. Anyway, haven't explored all of it, and I'm glad that my house made it in, even though the thing it was hanging off (the mountain) didn't make it. Now it's just a house floating in mid-air with a stick poking out of it. But still, stuff can't be perfect can it. Keep up the great work.

Theevilpplz is so fabulous, hetrosexual men turn bi when he passes by.
With the map larger than ever, it would indeed be very helpful if you put directions in, since maps such as the one you have (the picture) can be slightly misleading, and hard to find out where you are and where you want to go.

I have a castle for you! and i recommend broville viewtopic.php?f=25&t=24148 you may want to ask oldshoes first though. and its size is an entire map or 2 :/ so may not fit
Broville is already in there, last time I checked.
I think Wreckage, you should ask everyone who has a building in there, what the name of the building is, so you can put in the main post:
Building Name - Creator Name
This would help to prevent multiple people suggesting the same things to put in.
My place is the weird Bunker-home with a bridge leading to a real house, and a fancy dock off to the side. I'm not sure what the crap I'd call it. It's on the other side of the pine forest.
The fantastic tools that have been provided by all the minecraft experts out there. I applaud you :smile.gif:. I use MCedit and LOLeditor, World manager and Cartograph. Cant live without them.

Thanks for the submissions. As far as getting lost on the map, I think that is part of the fun, Exploring.
I am trying to include ID on the structures and adding more signage. Keep em coming Thanks.
I am adding roads to most of the places, Maybe they will be more useful in the future if Notch creates some kind of on the road transport. That would be cool.
Probably signs on starting location so I could know what I can find here and basic direction (north, south, east, west). Roads not really needed if you can add some subtle hints :wink.gif: (like the pine trees to indicate they are 'developed' region). It just meh when I found myself generating new chunk instead exploring the structures.
Anyway, it seems that both mob traps (the one in outside, the other one on the castle) are not working, any idea why?

It seems that this is a common problem, (getting lost I mean). I am not sure how the best way of handling that would be short of building a wall around the entire map lol. I put a large compass on the map, that may help only when using a mapper of some kind. It will be nice when a good live map is developed.
As for the mob traps, If the structure came equipped with spawners they should be working fine, if your on something other than peaceful. The only thing that transferring schematics leaves out is pictures on the walls. So you will have to redecorate your self.
well mob traps with spawner is kinda beat its purpose :wink.gif: I assume on its original location, the authors intend to trap 'legit' creepers with it. And I'm not on peaceful >_> .
Kudos on stitching everything together with shovel and pickaxe, you sure have the patiences :smile.gif: .
Updated and added several wonderful projects, amazing stuff. Updated save link, http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?xckxq1d85bqv211 And here is the new png map, http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx18 ... tionv6.png. I will keep adding as long as people continue to submit saves. Keep them coming. Post your saves here.

On that topic, I suggest this guy's underwater house: http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=46644. I am also about to post on that thread suggesting he put it in this map.
I have a few schematics here, probably the dragon is my most impressive work (though sadly cheated).

I'd suggest something like
at central points of people's contributions.
On top of the log would be a sign, of course.
