Well, as you may know,

1.9 is out.

So my last tutorial on /tellraw

won't work in this

snapshot.

Luckily, I've figured out how to do it

Just put "()" inbetween each

word.

Like:

/tellraw @a {"text":"Hello there"},"color":"red"}

Hope this helped, anyway
