Well, i'd love to say the tutorial has been of great help thus far, sadly i've had a few bumps and rocks right at the start. Here's my problem in image form:
Y'see, Eclipse does not recognize anything in there. Also, on another note, i feel the start of the tutorial might be a little bit vague or light. I know it was probably done in such a way to make it faster and more simple, but i've had a few problems and i didn't even start writing the codes yet. By the way, i did the previous steps and had no errors, even installed the JDK and all its accompanying bits .I hope this helps, and i can get some assistance. *Another note, i did try to tell Eclipse to use both the mod's folder and the workspace folder as workspaces, but none were recognized.

When you first start up Eclipse, it will ask what workspace you want to use. By default, this will create a blank workspace for you. You need to change that path to the path of your mod (in your case, the Elementium Mod folder).
That is the only thing I can think that happened, either that, or you need to Import your workspace (in Eclipse under File, click Import, General, Existing Projects).

Well, i did try to point it to that folder, it still didn't notice any projects, still, your other suggestion did seem to work. I'm not sure as i have not poked around the files yet, but here's what i have now...
Now, may i proceed with the tutorial, or something not right? Thanks for the quick answer by the way, you certainly keep up with the topic! Much appreciated.

Ok so the misspells that I have found for now(I made the changes to have a red color so that you can easily see it):
Tutorial #5 - Basic Item:
1.
You forgot to put proxy.registerRenderers(); in the FMLInit in the main class, this caused some people(me and calum12 and maybe others) to not have a texture on our item.
Tutorial #6 - Basic Block:
1. Page 1
Is = RegisterHelper.registerBlock(citrine_block);
Should be = RegisterHelper.registerBlocks(citrine_block);
2. Page 3
Is = public static Block citrine_block new BlockExodus(1.0F, 3.0F, “pickaxe”, 1, 0F).setUnlocalizedName(“citrine_block”);
Should be = public static Block citrine_block = new BlockExodus(1.0F, 3.0F, "pickaxe", 1, 0F).setUnlocalizedName("citrine_block");
3. Page 4
Should say that you need to create a assets.exodus.textures.blocks package in resources for the block textures.
EDIT 1:
Tutorial #5 - Basic Item:
2. You missed to say that in assets.modid.items.textures and assets.modid.item.model modid needs to be changed to you modid, in this case exodus.
Should be fixed now. Error 1 on tutorial #6 isn't an error. For instance, the RegisterHelper class' method is just #registerBlock, although, you may have blocks being plural.
Some 1.7 code won't work for 1.8, and some will. Primarily the differences would be regarding how items and blocks would be rendered. You can probably get away with using some 1.7 tutorials for 1.8, although, you may run into errors that you'll need to fix yourself.
So this might seem a bit stupid but are you supposed to make a class for each item and block you want to create? Or can they all go in one single ModBlocks and ModItems class and just be on their own separate line of code? Also having trouble getting my BlockModName class imported into my ModBlocks class, not sure how to do it?

Multiple items/blocks can go in their respective place (hence the plural name), and regarding your import, have you tried the shortcut (CTRL-Shift-o [windows] or Command-Shift-o [Mac]).

Out of curiosity, anyone interested in helping out with a project or two of mine? Reason being is I find it more enjoyable (and more productive) to work alongside others. Only requirement is having a decent understand of Forge (the basics), and are willing to learn more.
oh and i cant seem to fallow the link to forges source it says its unable to connect
Did you buy your website or make it for free? If you have
Free for the most part - I need to renew the domain name and upgrade.
Hmm - that would be an important step. I may have stuck it in somewhere in there, but maybe not, I'll have to look at it. Thanks for the tip.
I don't know how to do that and nothing will tell me how to.
Do what?
Change what files are importing but I figured out that if you have it as Jlib instead of help it will also work.

Nope, you are good to go
I see them, and will fix them right now.

For some reason Minecraft won't run on eclipse but there is no crash report.
Tell me if you need anything else

Laggy internet sorry but I have to use a screenshot.
This is what the hierarchy is and I am on tutorial #3 for 1.7.10
Are the steps for 1.7 compatible with 1.8?
What are your run configurations? (see the drop-down menu next to the green play button)
