You have an error at line four of your main class: at com.github.killcrill60.cheesemod.cheesemod.<init>(cheesemod.java:4). Look there, and fix any errors. Also, these tutorials are meant for 1.7.10, and may not work for higher versions of Minecraft.

They're should be some other examples of that elsewhere. I don't have any code for multi-sided blocks at the moment.

Yup - I think I made a type. The shovel class is actually ItemSpade. As for the other issue, whenever you get the link up, I'll look at it.

Not necessarily. I'm not sure what you did, but I would backup your source code if you wish to keep it (just save the .java classes), and re-setup you workspace fresh. You can then add you .java classes to the src/main/java folder once your new workspace is setup.

No problem :). Refreshing everything could be a good way to start anew, and should be good practice as well. The best way to learn Java and how Minecraft works is to just practice doing different things.

If you are on Mac, it should pop-up something saying would you like to download certain developer tools. If you download that, it will basically download Git for you. It's a safe download as it is your computer telling you your missing something that is needed for development in some cases. If you are on Windows, you can just google git and download/install it that way.

Not necessarily. I'm not sure what you did, but I would backup your source code if you wish to keep it (just save the .java classes), and re-setup you workspace fresh. You can then add you .java classes to the src/main/java folder once your new workspace is setup.
No problem :). Refreshing everything could be a good way to start anew, and should be good practice as well. The best way to learn Java and how Minecraft works is to just practice doing different things.

If you are on Mac, it should pop-up something saying would you like to download certain developer tools. If you download that, it will basically download Git for you. It's a safe download as it is your computer telling you your missing something that is needed for development in some cases. If you are on Windows, you can just google git and download/install it that way.
