Reference Episode 9 - Forge: Can someone explain to me why SCMOWNS talks about modding the server? Is this optional or is it a requirement to make the mod work? I had it in my head that a client side mod will work without a server mod, and that a server mod means that the client mod is no longer required. Just want some clarification I am reading Episode 9 as though client and server mods are required to make this work.

no dude, it's universal so if it's on the server everyone that wants to go on the server must have the client so send the file that you made from EP9 and get them to install that and install the same file on the server
