You should add armor to the planned features.
And you also should add how to make stuff compatible with other mods.
Also what I think SuperToastCraft meant was if you could add to the planned features list on how to make like different types of blocks and not only concrete, solid blocks like stone.

But i got one off of someones mod just to help my buddy out lol he was getting a error and i know what he did wrong and that was the second part of the code where u have to create the class file for the GemItem Great TUT thought will be implementing and learning more from your TUT's so Thanks...

uninstall java jdk from your computer, and download a new one
should look like this when uninstalling java jdk.
And it doesnt seem to be going any further. Im afraid to close it out. please reply soon!

I got errors in the most of the cpw.mods.fml files befor i even started putting anything in ... this sucks its like forge was brokin befor i even started. I fallowed the video to the T
Damn i need help :/ I am starting with modding, following 1st movie with Forge where u r istalling all necesery stuff i am stuck at installing Forge.
- CMP 7.51 extracted
- jdk-7u21-windows-i586 installed, path added
- bin folder pasted into jars like in the movie
- extracted from minecraftforge-src-1.5.2-7.8.0.707 the folder forge into modding folder and then i click install nothing happens just cmd window pop ups "system cannot run the program push any key to continue ..."
I have done all the installation succesfully at different OS and now i am using Win XP SP3 and it's stuck :S

Don't type
Try this
You don't need to actually type in the id just type blockID
Also if its an item type itemID instead of blockID
