Then find the desired version of forge (recommended is the best) and click the "installer". Also if you are doing it for 1.7.2 you have to run the normal 1.7.2. This is what the page should look like
When the installer is done loading open it up. (It should be a JAVA jar file.) It shows something like this
Click the install client and it should already be that option. Then press ok. The client will unload all the files into Minecraft. This will probably take long or not depending on your computer speed. When it says something like "Forge has been downloaded" press ok.
Then in your start search type in "%appdata%"
Press the enter key on your keyboard and it will load up a tab. Click on ".minecraft"
Yours should have more folders in your .minecraft. Anyways, just make a new folder in the .minecraft file and name it "mods" no caps, no spaces, nothing just mods. Then you take your minecraft forge mod file and just drag it in the mods file. Thats it! All you have to do is run the minecraft launcher and there should be a new profile named "Forge".
Click on it and run minecraft! Have fun! Once again please download the recommended version of forge installer because the newer versions are going to have really big problems, well atleast it did for ME. Anyways enjoy the mod!
