This is a problem I'm encountering with shaders, where fire flickers and changes to other textures:

I've seen a couple others with this problem, and to be honest it's really annoying when you get on fire. (I play on a pvp server and people sometimes use fire aspect swords.)

Try now. I accidently uploaded not ultra, but standart optifine.

so i download the mod fine but every time i go to put the shader packs in the folder it wont let me and when i try to exstract the folder so its not a zip anymore is says for each pack it needs a password so whats the password or what do i do and im also running windows xp i dont know if that changes anything

It doesn't have any passwords... I archived these files on Mac OS X. Maybe I'll try to archive these files on Windows...
i like the mod but i need a way to make it less laggy i cant play cause the amount of lag tell me how to kix or a pack that does not cause that much lag
Thanks You for the great video, nice that you use MagicLauncher because thats also what i use. But, when I select a shader (in the game), my Minecraft quits/crashes. Please help, Thanks!
There was no difference in my minecraft , I had it installed nicely and there was a shaders option and i loaded the RudoPlays pack inside and had it selected. It didnt show any difference in the water nor the lighting. I have no idea what im doing wrong. I followed the settings and turned on clear water.

I'm still getting the fire problem where it changes textures and all that, using Optifine D3 Ultra & your new updated links.
It has to wave. Try other shader packs.

Try play minecraft without other mods. Just with Optifine and GLSL Shader mod.
