Hi. I'm super new. I'm so new, I still smell of leather, or something. Anyway, I've been trying to get an answer to my question through google search and, because I'm so new and don't really know what I'm doing, I don't know the right question to ask. Can you help please???!!! :smile.gif: I want to know the purpose of a custom block in a forum or blog. I love this game by the way. Saw it on youtube.
Thank you (I hope) :unsure.gif:
The purpose of a custom block can be pretty much what ever you want it to be as far as if the game actually allows what you want it to do in a sense. I have been using them just to add extra blocks with different textures so I can use them for aesthetic looks in buildings
Hey, I don't wanna be a hassle, or a troll. But when Is the next Tut?
I think I might do one tonight. Not sure what it will be though.

can some one tell me how i can make my mob tamable
Have you looked at all the methods in EntityWolf? isTamed is the state that the wolf is actually in when tamed, but there are quite a few others that are also needed.

Also, How can I make.. Idk.. A mini House generate randomly? And have something spawn in it?
Not sure about having something spawn in it, but to do the house, just keep adding world.setBlockWithNotify lines changing what the block is and its location until you have designed a house.

I've been really busy with school so I haven't had time to do any more tutorials. I did add a world gen tutorial yesterday, might make something else today.

In your entity class, change it to extend EntityMob
public class EntityNamehere extends EntityMob

Trying to add a new tut every day or two from now on to make up for my absence of making new ones.

I'm currently working on my owned tamed mobs, but use most of the code in EntityWolf that contains the word "tamed" or something like that. Unless you really want to for some reason, don't use audiomod. Follow this tutorial here, it works just as well, if not better. It does not require audiomod to be used, which is good because then your mod has one less dependancy. I use the same way of adding sounds into the Undead+ mod I'm working on, it works perfectly.

If you want it to spawn at night, yes.
