NOTE: Please make sure it says .ogg at the end of the file name.
Example:
"Minecraft Song"
"Minecraft Song.ogg"
After you have converted your mp3 files into .ogg format, you're are ready to add them to MineCraft !
Here is how:
Step #1:
* Note: This is for players that are using default 1.6.2 resource packs. Skip step #1.5 if you are using default.
Open up .minecraft > Assets > records
Step #1.5
If you're NOT using default resource pack, do the following:
Copy and paste records folder from .minecraft > assets folder to .minecraft > resoucepacks >YourResourcePack > assets

Step #2
Make a back up for your records folder.
Step #3
Replace and rename the files in the records folder with your custom one's.
Example:
"Minecraft song.ogg" ---> Rename and replace it with cat.ogg or any of the following.
While you're doing that, remove the original cat.ogg or any of the following before you place your custom renamed file into the records folder.
Step #4
Open up MineCraft and test the records with a jukebox.
*Note: Play the disc that you replaced the custom songs with.
Example:
Minecraft song.ogg > cat.ogg
Play cat disc in MineCraft.
Enjoy listening to your own music in MineCraft!
