I have updated my mod to 1.6.1 with modloader
It all works good on eclipse
But when i do recompile and after reobfuscate
There is nothing in the reobf folder
):
Can you help me
Yes please, when I run Eclipse, there is nothing in the "src" folder. Please tell me step-by-step on how to setup thanks!
ok there's a bunch of steps, but this worked for me -
First, Launch Minecraft and make sure you have downloaded 1.6.1
Next, Double-click on decompile.bat inside your MCP folder.
Allow this to run, and this will copy over all files required from your .minecraft folder
Once complete, delete the "src" folder.
Open the "Jars" folder, and inside open the "Versions" folder
Open the 1.6.1 folder, and open the 1.6.1.jar with WinRar/7zip
Install Modloader and delete META-INF
Decompile again
Go to your src folder.
In modloader.java change line 290 to:
localizedStrings.put(s1, (Map)obj); Line 307 to:
tradeItems.put(Integer.valueOf(profession), (List)list); Line 1499 to:
keyList.put(basemod, (Map)obj);
And in ChatMessageComponent.java line 256 to:
var7.append(StatCollector.translateToLocalFormatted(this.field_111090_h, (Object[])var13));
it worked for me....idk if the guy uploaded a new version of modloader or not...if so, the errors might be fixed...
Well, some people don't feel like doing forge, because it's more confusing, or something... and modloader is a good thing to start off when your new to coding. I agree that all we need is forge, and forge is way better. There are probably other reasons why people still code with modloader, and they may eventually go to forge...
Wouldn't it be better to get them into forge at once?
For me it would have been easier to just get into forge API at once, also it has better support, docs and supports multiplayer!

ok, did u set the eclipse's workspace to the "eclipse" folder in mcp folder?
I'm curious if you've actually used ModLoader (at least Risugami's ModLoader) in 1.6.1 to make custom achievements? I think there is a bug in however Risugami has been localizing strings that isn't working right now, as the "ModLoader.addAchievementDesc" method doesn't seem to change the description name in the achievement GUI in Minecraft for me.
Just to make sure I'm doing this right, I "rolled back" MCP and the jars to MC 1.5.2 and it seems to be working as advertised on your original post, but it isn't working in 1.6.1. I have to assume either Mojang changed things around a bit or at least Risugami forgot something critical. I'm just trying to verify this bug... since you seem to be claiming this works in 1.6.1 as well. Is there anything different explicitly with 1.6.1?

Edit: the 2 ppls that voted for "Yes!! please do!!" on the poll are going to re-vote since i changed it and that last one pretty much meant "Yes"...idk y i really put it in...lol

Curse Premiumsure, it's easy
i'm assuming u mean like a basic block, not like something where u step on it and it acts like quicksand or something...which i tried once...

That is a rather broad and general question. Is there a specific problem that can be addressed?
